It's ricey I agree, but it is full-size, has amazing cable management potential, USB 3.0 etc. not a bad case but... I don't know, probably look retarded on my desk. Might just get a CM 690 II side window or make my own and hope for the best, the 650D is so sexy but it costs like £120 and it's not even full size, so expensive.. What else do you think I should get? I want something really sleek like the corsair towers (graphite look a bit crap though) but all for something at a reasonable price, you get what you pay for I know and the one I have now is supposed to be amazing but I'm just not feeling the overall look of it.
the 650D is still pretty big http://www.scan.co.uk/products/fractal-design-define-xl-black-pearl-mid-tower-case-w-o-psu the same price as the define R3 for some reason, excellent for the price

Think I'll just save for the 650D or 800D, damn you corsair and your sexy products. [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] I fucking love corsair
I love the look of these, once I get mine I'll probably mount the fan upwards, worse for airflow and whatnot but it looks so damn good, there's a grey version too.
I'm going to be buying one of these to replace my Fail Power PSU since reapaninja recommended it It does look super sexy.

Love it however I mounted mine downwards as the green doesn't blend in with my computers colour scheme, it's better for airflow and it makes it look all simplistic which I love.
Newegg rocks. The Spinpoint F3 went on sale today. I bought a WD 750 Gb yesterday for the same price. I call em up, they say just refuse package and Ill get my full refund. And I have a new Spinpoint f3 on the way tomorrow I hope! The F3 is only $50 by the way with code EMCKDJF27 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185
I remember reading your post about getting that 750gb drive. Woke up the next morning and saw a 1TB WD Green for the same price and I was like "I gotta let this guy know!". Then I scrolled down and saw the F3 for the same price and I was like "I REALLY gotta let this guy know!". Then I forgot. Good thing you caught it. Enjoy your new drive.
What ever happened to the post your desk thread? I loved that thread.
Corsair is the best brand for everything. Everything they do SCREAMS high quality
no good but not the best seasonic and CWT make their PSUs, their newer budget PSUs aren't brilliant, and for their higher end PSUs you're usually better off with another brand (e.g. XFXs 650w, 750w and 850w use the exact same seasonic internals as the TX_50V2s, either a similar price for a modular version or cheaper for the non-modular) their cooling is definitely not, the air coolers are nothing special and the water kits are overpriced their cases and RAM are fine, when they're not too expensive

Personally I love them, I've already got 6 corsair 140mm fans, a H60 and RAM from them, I plan to buy the 650D, H51 and SP2500 from them too as soon as I grab the cash, although I'll be getting the XFX PSU rather than a corsair one. Even my wallpaper is Corsair, it's the super minimalistic yet sleek look that does it for me, the brushed metal on their cases is just lush. Plus, when I bought the H60 and wanted to do a push/pull fan configuration but the H60 only comes with 4 mounting screws, I emailed them and they sent me another 4 screws to do my push/pull, a PKM splitter to attach two fans to the CPU_Fan 4-pin and a free corsair fan with 4 rubber mounting grommets.

I'm excited! I was sooooo mad when I saw that to but, I just ordered the F3, and RMA'd the WD. No biggie, just got to wait for the refund. The F3 should be here by Friday. Also, everyone should subscribe for Newegg emails, best deals ever.
Today I'm suppose to be getting an old "gaming computer" from the IT guy where my mom works. I bet it's really just old Dell. But it's free so I can't complain. I'll post it when it gets here later today,

That's what I was planning to do. Hopefully it's more than just a basic prebuilt since those are boring to play with. [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] And of course she left at her office
A friend of mine is giving me a old HP computer, on the off chance that its using a sempron I have a athon 64 x2 I can use that came out of a broken computer that they also gave me.
I decided to crossfire my 6870's recently, however, not a single retailer (that isn't a rip-off) sells the old Asus EAH6870 : :smith: the last of it's kind

Yes you can, the only real differences between brands are clock speeds and coolers.
yeah, but it just wont feel right if one was, say, twin frozr
yeah, but it just wont feel right if one was, say, twin frozr
Not feel, look :science:
yeah, but it just wont feel right if one was, say, twin frozr
random, but nice choice of avatar and yea, i scoured for a 1gb 4870 vapor-x after they stopped making them. I eventually got the last one in stock on this website. I felt good, now i have 2
Not feel, look :science:
They won't feel the same either if they have different coolers. :science:
Luckily I can find my XFX6870 here: http://www.cclonline.com/product/45292/HD-687A-ZNFC/Graphics-Cards/XFX-AMD-Radeon-HD-6870-1GB-Graphics-Card-/VGA1452/ So when I upgrade I can easily grab one.
i want to upgrade soon, but i feel like i don't need to. i have two 1gb 4870s in crossfire, 4 gb of ddr2, and a phenom ii x4 at 3.4 ghz. idk
