uh, I looked up a few and its literally a 10 fps difference in most cases...

crysis with AA at a decent res?
those are some pretty large differences
The 570 doesn't sound that bad. I'm being a pain. Haha, I'm just going to wait a few days. Most likely go with the 580. Do you know what type of pins the 570 will take? I'm assuming a 6 and an 8, but I already have 4 6pin single-braids on the way, I don't want to have to send them back.
it is 2 6pin
it is 2 6pin
Awesome, I just read about that. Maybe that will just work out in the end, that way I can keep my other 2 6pin connectors just in case I want to add another down the line.

Hexus is a terrible source as well as Hardware Canucks, for future reference.
So from the looks of it, I think the 570 is the way to go for me. Fits my budget perfectly, enough power to play what I want, and it runs on 2x6pin power connectors.
A GTX 260 is more than enough for PhysX.
I don't need anything more for physX, I'm just upgrading from my 285. Which if I wanted to be crazy, I could dedicate that to a physX card.

because all he's going to be doing is PhysX
part II: it's not, a single 260 is barely enough for Arkham Asylum with everything but anti-aliasing on - including PhysX

A GTX 260 runs Batman Arkham Asylum just fine.

Didn't realize 100 fps was barely.
I'm going to say that that graph is inaccurate, because I have 2 GTX 280s in SLI and in Arkham Asylum, 1680x1050, max with no AA but PhysX on, I usually get ~50 fps

CPU bottleneck perhaps?
no, it's a q6600 @ 3.2
also on my computer with a 5770 (which is similar to a 260) I don't get a framerate even close to 150 fps on 1280x1024 maxed w/ no AA, no physX (obviously)
so yeah, I would say that the graph is inaccurate

Q6600 is a bottleneck in this case.

is that average or max? because those look to be max figures
or maybe it's just running on lower settings
what the fuck obviously that doesn't include PhysX, do you not see the ATI cards listed?
