I'm rockin my Aurora 7500, still serves me perfectly. $3000 = rip off, but I get 200fps on Crysis, full settings. I don't mind.
I doubt you get so much fps on full on crysis. Unless you run at like 640x480 or something

It's unfair how retarded people are often happier then those who know the truth. A perfect example is Zydos and his '200 FPS on Crysis'
If you have a wireless router, and you go cable modem>router>PC you increase latency by a sizable amount, as well as lose a little bandwidth. As soon as I got dual Ethernet and went Modem>PC>Router, my ping got drastically better in games, and my bandwidth was a little better.
Wait so you can continue the loop by just connecting your PC directly to the modem and then use the other ethernet port to connect to your router? Trying this now.
Wait so you can continue the loop by just connecting your PC directly to the modem and then use the other ethernet port to connect to your router? Trying this now.
You need to bridge the connections in your network connections pane in windows... but yeah.
It's unfair how retarded people are often happier then those who know the truth. A perfect example is Zydos and his '200 FPS on Crysis'
Or people who want to make themselves feel better for being totally ripped off.
Or people who want to make themselves feel better for being totally ripped off.
I  justifying the unjustifiable.
Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
Hes not lying (640x480 no AF no AA dx9 textures and detail at lowest)
Hes not lying (640x480 no AF no AA dx9 textures and detail at lowest)
he said '' full settings''
eh I bought an alienware desktop and it's pretty safe to say they're pieces of shit (got mine sent with a busted mobo) their laptops are quite well built, actually. They recently crammed a bunch of high power parts into a netbook, which was great. laptops good (they're overpriced everywhere else, too, not as much as AW of course)
Dell makes good laptops, Gateway makes good laptops, and Sager makes good laptops. [editline]04:40PM[/editline] I mean with Sager, for $1,500 you get a 15.6" LED backlit 1920x1080 display, an i7 720QM, a 5870M, Windows 7 Home Premium x64, 4GB DDR3 1066MHz, and a 320GB HDD.
15" 1080? Crisp.
15" 1080? Crisp.
Yeah 1680x1050 on my laptop's 15.4" screen is already insanely crisp.
Yeah 1680x1050 on my laptop's 15.4" screen is already insanely crisp.
Im pretty sure that 14.1" with 1680x1050 is the highest PPI/pixel density you can get in a laptop.

Same story for the computer I have in my basement that feeds off the wireless and gives other computers internet through a totally separate LAN.
Honestly, I love mine. Also, before you yell at me, I took all the parts I could find on Newegg that are in my computer and got $1378.98. That's not including the GPU, PSU, water cooling, keyboard, mouse, fans, motherboard, wireless card, or this badass looking case. And yes, it is an Aurora. Specs: Intel i7 920 GTS 240 12GB RAM 525W PSU Sound Blaster X-Fi Windows 7 Thats really it. I think its a pretty good buy fro $1600 including all the extra crap they through
Specs: Intel i7 920 GTS 240 12GB RAM 525W PSU Sound Blaster X-Fi Windows 7
wat.
Alienware's are fine. I bought one 2 years ago, for $1200, and I got a new case but I've had no issues with it.
Alienware's are fine. And isn't it a bitch to find a BTX case for it? Not saying that what you're saying isn't true, I'm just a bit skeptical.
GTS 240 12GB RAM 525W PSU
... :wtc:
Hes not lying (640x480 no AF no AA dx9 textures and detail at lowest)
You're joke kind of failed since he did mention full settings. I'm guessing he full = max
I got my Aurora half a year ago. I love it, havn't had any problems. For 1444 euro I got: Intel X58 Mobo Ati 5870 6 Gig ram DDR3 (triple channel) 875 Watt PSU 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive Intel I7 920 @ 2.67 Ghz (yeah I know I should overclock it) 24x optical drive Liquied cooling I did get a 5% discount, but thats it. Alienware is worth the money if you ask me.
I don't think some blinky lights and shiny alien symbols are worth $1000
what dude dont you know that each light you have it makes the computer 2x faster i have a lot of lights on my computer and even on my monitor

Probably isn't that much pricier for a prebuilt compared to getting the parts yourself.

My $400 rig is better than yours in 80% of games.
