Actually could I just get some kind of serial/model number for the conversion board? I'm hoping I'll get lucky and find some kind of detailed blueprints.

Dad built took a old broken PSU, took everything out of it and made it a 12v adapter. Now he can test his car DVD player and a little TV. If I send it, will it count?

You have to make room for the board that he's given the dimensions for. He gives you the converter board with the hard drive if you win.

Yeah I don't see why not. You're taking computer hardware and putting it in a non-computer place. But if I don't get at least 10 entries I think I'll have to call the competition off. It looks like the external competition is dead so I'll probably be calling that one off now.

I was planning on using a defect dual slot graphics card (GTX 260 or something) as an external drive enclosure. Just rip out the heatsink and keep the shell, drill some holes for mounts and change the backplate, but I can't seem to find a bricked card. Bastards just throw their shit away soon as it breaks.

Hold on, im cranking out some shots of my bedside table EDIT: THERE! YAY! ive got an entry in the competition that i didnt have time for so i just showd something that i actually use! srsly, i actually use that... no joke. ive got very little storage space so i thought i'd use them for something slightly more useful

I've got a box of old computer parts, and a whole desktop that's fallen to crap, and I still can't figure out what to do with it. Literally sitting with it here next to me going what to do, what to do.
