It has a vga port...
I've always wanted to make a portable gaming desktop with monitor that fits inside a briefcase-like-case. [img_thumb]http://www.global-b2b-network.com/direct/dbimage/50325891/BBQ_Case.jpg[/img_thumb] Like that but bigger. Monitor fits in the top, then the rest of the computer on the bottom complete with keyboard and mouse.
AFAIK Cosmic Duck made some really similar.
It has a vga port...
But why not have a screen?
But why not have a screen?
Because I don't think you could splice general output to a Gameboy's screen, or find a screen that tiny useful for general computing.
Because I don't think you could splice general output to a Gameboy's screen, or find a screen that tiny useful for general computing.
PDA Screen and Ubuntu netbook edition.
PDA Screen and Ubuntu netbook edition.
:what:
:what:
You're a moron. What do you mean what, I explained it fine.
You're a moron. What do you mean what, I explained it fine.
No, you're a moron. PDA screens use proprietary digital connections. It's nearly impossible to get anything but the intended hardware to work on them. Stop saying stupid things.

Also, its nearly impossible, not impossible! :effort: But I know you can get a PS1 Portable screen to run on composite video, So that would work fine. If you used a VGA to Composite adapter.

Maybe you require more effort. But honestly I think the Ps1 screen is a great idea. Last I heard of it you can run it on double a's. And they go cheap on ebay.
And there's no way you could fit a VGA to composite adapter and a PS1 screen inside a gameboy, quit justifying yourself, you're working yourself into a hole. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline]
You just used it twice in that message. Maybe you require more effort.
Seriously, what? I said you've been overusing the effort emote, and I was demonstrating.

I said you could fit a PDA screen into a gameboy. I did not say it would work. The PS1 screen on the other hand would be good if you were planning on putting a pico-itx into a old router case. And that would work. :ninja:

It's a readable, decent size and its easy to get working.
Haha, I knew it was going to turn out like this. Anyways, if anybody is considering a portable, PSOne screen would work great with a pico-itx.
Because we all want to use a 320x240 screen in our computers :downs: No, seriously, stop saying stupid things.
Because we all want to use a 320x240 screen in our computers :downs: No, seriously, stop saying stupid things.
I honestly think it is a great idea, if you think it is stupid then I could not care less. If you really care so much you could buy a pal version, I read somewhere you could get the pal versions to work with VGA.
I want to get an old cream-white case from the 90's and put modern parts in it.
Everyone just ignore doonbuggie for now. On topic: My friend has a computer like that. It's a really really old case from some unknown brand, but he has a Phenom II x4 in it.

Allrighty then.
A shirt.
Well if you starched it enough...............:science:
A shirt.
A bra :smug:
Um, NO! [img_thumb]http://www.windowsfordevices.com/files/misc/via_itx_form_factor_comp.jpg[/img_thumb] There's a reason it's more expensive: BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING TINY.
I think my mini-ITX is fucking tiny, but that thing is goddamn small.
I think my mini-ITX is fucking tiny, but that thing is goddamn small.
But they won't unlock its full potential until they put an LGA 1156 socket and ribbon-cable attached PCIe x16 slot :saddowns: I mean what's the worst that could happen? :v:
Mousepad? Advent Calender? Photo frame? Speaker? Wallelt? Keyboard? There are too many possibilities. But a keyboard would be cool. Or photo frame. Or something else. Flower pot? Also, Little kids, stop fighting. WE GOT PRIVATE MESSAGES TOO, MAN!

Air flow wouldn't really work, so you'd need liquid cooling or that new Nvidia vapor-coolant [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] Also a big pack of Lithium 18500s
