For a mouse I might understand, its the people who spend $100 on a keyboard that confuse me.

It for people who like talking to their friends, their fantastic for VoIP clients.
Not to mention, if you're eating chips or something, mouses like the G9 that have a dry grip are nice so that you don't get shit all over you're smooth grip. Not to mention, you can change it up whether you like a heavy or light mouse, and the sensitivity settings on the mouse are also fantastically convenient.

If you don't know the point of the screen or the extra buttons, and how amazing useful they are, then, just forget it.
no, like a full on regular, 84+ key QWERTY keyboard. with a laser on the bottom.
Just kidding but thought that was one weird as hell mouse.

The only gaming mouse I've owned so far; the Saitek Cyborg.

G5, survived me being clumsy and dumping Dr.Pepper all over it..

Take these recommendations and go to your local Best Buy and try them out. I recently did this to get a better feel of what kind of replacement mouse I want. I would buy the mouse online though because you can most likely get a better price.

I have both the mousepad and mouse. Mousepad is great, nice and smooth, I can turn around nice and fast. Mouse is great too, perfect fit for my hand, two extra buttons on each side. If I could get the drivers working, it would be even better, they worked before, but for some reason they stopped working one day. Oh well, still a great mouse. Perfect for games and my large hand.

This. Been using it for like 2 years now and is still a top performer in my opinion. And was only £20
Best mouse I've owned, got mine around 3 months ago
For some reason, my G5 DPI on-the-fly settings change from time to time in game. Like I would be on the middle block in a game, then suddenly the DPI would turn super super low. The only way I would fix this is by restarting my computer.
The G5 also skips around a bit. Might be because of its super sensitive laser? I blew pressurized air into the bottom to blow out any dust or shit. It seemed to work for awhile.
Also it feels really uncomfortable in my hands. Might just be because I have small ass Asian hands.

DeathAdder 3G.
Despite it being overpriced and gimmicky, I love my Razer Lachesis.
I recently bought a G5, it was awesome for the week it lasted before the laser died.

TRUST Laser Gaming Mouse
I've used this mouse pretty long time now and it works great as gaming mouse! 3200dpi, change on the fly and a led that changes color at the back TRUST logo.
Only bad thing is the configurations in the software that follows.
The prize is OK! :)
