Ehh, he's just saying something about the huge leap that [I]did[/I] happen. He said he changed platform because of the bad performance on the 2g, and he didn't say that iOS is bad - just iOS on the 2g.
I've got a 2G as well and I can confirm it's a pretty slow thing.
