I think you need a piece of artwork with some red on that white wall, something large. Also if I were you I would just buy a wall mount for the monitor and just decide on a dedicated position. Everyone around here seems to move their setup around every six months or so, I think that ideally you set it up perfectly once and never have to tweak it again.

That is a good idea, the cost of a wall mount is tiny in comparison to a dedicated stand, I would be able to mount 3 monitors on the wall, I wouldn't have to worry about moving stuff around as I'm planning on moving out next year or so. I'll have a search around for some red artwork see if I can get it printed large/canvas.

I did have a 5 piece wall mount for all my guitars, but I'm gonna go pick up one of these: [URL]http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/stagg-acoustic-and-electric-guitar-stand-for-5-guitars.html[/URL] and have them standing along side the wall, plus I can use it for when I am out with a guitar or two.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a Hercules brand stand such as [url=http://www.thomann.de/gb/hercules_hcgs525b.htm]This one[/url]. They can be pricey but they will last you a lifetime of gigging.
My pair of [url=http://www.thomann.de/gb/hercules_gs412b_gitarrenstaender.htm]bass stands[/url] have a couple hundred gigs on them now and all they have is scratches, all the latches and rubber is still in one piece. I have a pair of Stagg speaker stands and after ~20 sound jobs the threads have stripped on both which is a bit of a let down really, on the flipside though one of my mic stands is a Stagg one and it's built very, very well.

The opposite wall is also white by the windows, if all 4 walls were red it'd make the room a lot more darker. But I love that colour red, when I move out I'll be using that as my main colour.
