The best camera I have right now, I shit you not, is my Nokia E51. So the picture I took looks like shit.

You'd think I turned the bloody lights off and it used some sort of flash and that's why it's grainy piece of shit, but no, I actually turned the lights on so I could take the picture.
But hey, it's my mancave while I'm "studying" (go to lectures or shit for 3 and a half years and then do absolutely nothing useful at home).
Oh well. Feels good to have my own apartment though.

Don't worry, that effect will probably turn in to an instagram filter soon.
I recognized that weird grainy nokia camera effect instantly, takes me back
Nice compact set up, I like it, looks like mine without the other monitors
Just calculated something interesting. I spent $2500 back in 2008 on my computer that I am still using in nearly exactly the same configuration. That's over four years, 51 months of use without upgrades. That's $49 a month for the use of the computer. Seeing that I have been able to happily use the same rig for four years makes me pretty content and secure that my next rig in the spring will be a very good investment.

What are the specs?
What are the specs?
Q9550
GTX 280's in SLI
8GB DDR2 1066
HAF932
EVGA 780i FTW motherboard
Antec 850W TruPower Quattro
Coolermaster Hyper2300.
The modern equivalent that I plan on getting will be something like this,
i7-3930K
Coolermaster Hyper212
Samsung 840 250GB SSD (still need to do more research on SSD's)
32GB Gskill (Room for expansion if needed)
GTX 670's in SLI (or whatever the equivalent in the spring)
Undecided Motherboard.
I will most likely reuse my power supply and case since there is no true reason to upgrade other than wanting a shiny, minimalist, aluminum box tower to replace the HAF.
I might upgrade to 64GB of ram, but I just have to see how much resources max will draw off of 32Gb when working on one of my cities. The new build will come in right around $2,000. I also might do a refresh of my second computer as well.
My secondary computer (built at the same time as my main rig) is running:
Q9550
EVGA 560TI
8Gb Gskill 1066
EVGA 780i FTW
Antec TruPower Quatrro 850w
Antec Twelve Hundred
I might upgrade the CPU/Mobo and/or just give it a second 560Ti so that it can keep up with my main rig for co-op gaming.
Cleaned my desk today.

The Samsung 840's haven't been doing too well I heard, a pretty high failure rate. Stick to the 830s when they go on sale, I bought a pair of 256GB's for $125/each, put them in RAID 0, best investment of the year for me.
Yeah I have the 830 series in my main rig, and laptops. Best thing ever.

The room is in dire need of redecorating, but that wont happen till the end of the school year, where we should be getting a green screen recording set to stick in the room aswell.

Is it windows or picture frames? O.o
I'm pretty sure its a bunch of pictures to stimulate an ocean view so it looks better than just whitewashed walls. Prevent boredom and encourage productivity.

Almost correct, its a film that goes over glass, the outside is a reflective mirror surface, the other is the ocean, in the IT Suite they have a view of London's skyline for the windows.
