Finally have updated my desk. I added an "extension" to my Galant. And by that I mean I bought the 60cm x 120cm Galant desk with the small rounded-extension frame (only used the two connecting rods) to make it all one piece. All this lovely new desk space is really great. At standing height you never see any of the cables underneath except what drops down to the computer or router.
Man, I want that PS2 sign
I'm jealous of that PS2 sign Take a picture of it lighting up your room!

I'm assuming your house rules are similar to a petrol station No smoking, no naked flames, no pilot lights
I'm assuming your house rules are similar to a petrol station No smoking, no naked flames, no pilot lights
Well, no smoking is certainly a rule, however there are two wood stoves in it, and a pilot light in the basement, where all is concrete and sheet rock. But yeah, to be fairly honest - the other part of the Internet isn't really that big part of my time on ze interwebs...
Is that a dell U3011?
Does not look big enough, possibly the 23" or 24" ultrasharp.
Motherfucking Quark Is that a DS9 model and millenium falcon hanging from the roof? And you have a facepunch theme for firefox?
1. Yes 2. DS9 yes, the model to the left is the Defiant. I also have all the Enterprises (except the NX-01), Voyager, a Cardassian Galor, 3 Klingon ships and a Runabout. Also an inflatable Space Core 3. Yes, got it a couple years ago, I don't remember who made it
I don't understand the power strip on the wall why would you even
In case of water, which is unlikely, but you never know. Also I'm in a basement, notice the elevated Power outlets below it?
So its time for a little mini-poll. Agree if you like windows on your case, or disagree if you don't.
Honestly it really depends, For example I do have a side-windows but then again I've spend a lot of time and money into my computer and have a red themed watercooling setup ect.
Is that a dell U3011?
It's a dell u2410, it's been actually a little while since I bought it so I had to do my own little research. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?cs=19&c=us&l=en&sku=320-8277

General shot: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77587527/DSC_0864.png[/t] Closer one: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77587527/DSC_08665.png[/t] I really need to reorganize this room in general. Getting a bigger desk is planned though.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/4SLNq.jpg[/t]
There are probably loads of solutions, but any ideas how to make it look 'sexier'? [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] Keep in mind my parents are divorced, so I move every two weeks. Can't lock anything from the computer in the room.
I've been to IKEA... Again. My monitors now sit perfectly at eye level. [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] They have nice laptop stands in stock for £3.50, I would have got one if it didn't have a silly circular pattern on it.
Cambridge Audio amp, interesting. Some how I imaged you'd have an Amiga on your desk.

This thread really makes me want to change my setup, The problem however is I've got a very limited room. As in I've got a fixed stair that can only be in one place and a TV that can really only be in a couple of spots due to my angled roof. My room really only consists of a couple of objects, A fridge, desk, and a couch. That's it really. And I've (I think) tried every possible setup and I didn't really like any of them. I'll post some pics later and if anyone can come up with a good setup I haven't used before I'll get you a cheap steam game :v:
I had the idea of hanging a magnetic whiteboard on the wall above my desk and attaching recent photographs to it, rather than having the photographs collect dust in a photo album, it turned out fairly well although a little erratic.
That intriguing lovely smile. [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] 10/10 would smile back.
