the quality is beautiful isn't it the white box on the bottom too
I thought that was a soldering iron at first.
Im thinking of getting this poster for my wall http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004CSW8BU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p79_d5_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0Z7BFFMWYJDTSAH2JNA2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=317828027&pf_rd_i=468294 Thoughts??
Two subs you say.
Do you use those for casual listening? Surely your whole house shakes in it's foundations.
My Office :v: Really pleased with this setup now, the fact it stays tidy proves it really. And no, I don't like hollyoaks. What a pile of wank.
MεRR
That would be my brother, this used to be his room. He seemed to like writing on the walls. I've found these so far: "Merry Xmas" (One in the picture) "Mushroom Colour!!" "Keys!"

The white borders do seem to ruin it a bit though. Matches well with my Karen Gillan poster with faintly visible suggestive white marks below (that's actually because the paint on my walls is old and shitty and seems to be turning a chalk white). Also cheaper: http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/17630178/-/Product.html
This thread really makes me want to change my setup, The problem however is I've got a very limited room. As in I've got a fixed stair that can only be in one place and a TV that can really only be in a couple of spots due to my angled roof. My room really only consists of a couple of objects, A fridge, desk, and a couch. That's it really. And I've (I think) tried every possible setup and I didn't really like any of them. I'll post some pics later and if anyone can come up with a good setup I haven't used before I'll get you a cheap steam game :v:
Some pictures of my room, I've really tried every possible setup I can think off yet I'm not satisfied with any of them. Currently not displayed is the TV, it's upstairs.
I like the room, is it your own apartment? What are all those components on the shelf?
No, Still living with my parents. On the shelf are 2 top speakers and 2 amps, equalizer, cd player and vcr/cassete player/recorder. I need them since I quite often convert old tapes n stuff to dvd.
You have to climb a ladder to get up to your desk? That's freaking awesome for privacy, but I can't imagine trying to climb down that thing drunk.
Hopefully next week when I get back to working on stuff I'll be able to make use of the new setup, thinking of getting a small desk for the iMac and sticking it with my guitars, anyone know a half decent small cheap desk? Also has anyone had experience with those Ethernet powerline adapters? The new wireless box talktalk gave is a utter heap of garbage and just about reaches my room even though its supposedly a 'n' router.
You have to climb a ladder to get up to your desk? That's freaking awesome for privacy, but I can't imagine trying to climb down that thing drunk.
the desk isn't upstairs, look at the window
You have to climb a ladder to get up to your desk? In the past I've climbed down while sleepwalking without problems.

(ancient picture, now my walls are packed with art/speakers)
I can't imagine how much it'd suck to roll off that in my sleep
I can't imagine how much it'd suck to roll off that in my sleep
I'd be in a constant fear that the chain would break, and the bed would fall to the ground. but it looks cool as hell.
I'd be in a constant fear that the chain would break, and the bed would fall to the ground. but it looks cool as hell.
Bed has 14 8" lag bolts into the studs in the wall and the chain is 3/8" and has a load capacity of around 16,000 pounds so the 2x6 bed frame would be the first to go, also the chain goes through the ceiling and is anchored on a beam that spans across the joists in the attic, I can sleep soundly knowing the bed is not going anywhere.

I got really fucking confused when I saw W8 open on one screen. Looked at the keyboard, saw the mac one. Got really fucking confused. And then I saw your other keyboard? How annoying is it to switch between those two? Or is your desk really wide enough to have them side by side?
Meh, it's nothing special.. [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/50193884/IMG_20121231_202810.jpg[/img_thumb]
Do you use those for casual listening? Surely your whole house shakes in it's foundations.
Sometimes I'll use them "casually", but yes they do give the foundation a workout. [editline]December 31st 2012[/editline] I have posted these here before I'm surprised some of you have not seen them.
Also has anyone had experience with those Ethernet powerline adapters? The one we have costed around $90 when we got it almost 2 years ago so you could probably find one for cheaper

I assume you use those as part of your PA system for when you DJ and such?
Ajacks, I think I've heard these questions asked, and answered before, but how old are you and what job do you work? Give me your life.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7J9Hx.jpg?1[/img_thumb] Headset broke, so I re-purposed some trash and a rockband mic.
Ajacks, I think I've heard these questions asked, and answered before, but how old are you and what job do you work? Give me your life.
Trust me, Your not the first. Everyone new in this thread had to go trough that phase.
15 year old middle class family woes :v:
