I don't think you have enough laptops.
The laptops aren't mine. (Except the alienware)
I just fix them.
The new, unreleased, HAF XM is pretty butt ugly.

all HAFs are ugly
I used to think that as well, but the look is growing one me. Just look at one for a little while. It will happen. It always does.
soon.

HAF X and 912 are nice.
all HAFs are ugly
I hated the HAFs but then I got a 912 and loved it. But now I have a HAF X and it's an awesome case, I can see myself using it for a long time.
I want the NZXT Switch 810. NZXT is finally coming up in the higher end case world in my opinion.
Okay, got new headphones, and a semi-rearranged setup.

Desktop mic is best mic. Seriously, all my friends say it's as clear as day.
I don't know how people think those sound good.

All higher quality mics are desktop mics.
Not sure the one above is a high quality one though.
Or, rather, all high quality mics are desktop mics, but not all desktop mics are high quality.

That's pretty off. There are some very high quality headsets that Shure and whatnot make for sportscasters/talk radio. Hypercaridoid Capsule Condensers mostly. I have one myself, the Shure 512. It's about on par with shitty desktop condensers such as the AT2020. Obviously mono though, but mono is great for speech.

Yea well your face is a shitty desktop condenser.

I don't think most of us have interest for that kind of equipment.
I've been told my voice should be on the radio but my mic is an xbox mic.
Well AFAIK most sportscasters and talk radio hosts use boom mics.
do you LOVE the HTF600
Yes, best $35 i have ever spent. Somewhat hard to get use to how stuff sounds now though. Never knew this is what my music actually sounded like... anyways, thread derailed. Go to Headphone Buying Guide V3 if you want to talk about headphones.

everyone's talking about mics, I think it's okay
Well AFAIK most sportscasters and talk radio hosts use boom mics.
Not really, the majority of stadium announcers/sports commentators use headsets because of the noise of the working environments, and the fact that they have to move alot to read whatever statistics, announcements, what have you. Lots of talk news radio hosts use those headsets aswell. It's like having the isolation of the SM7B with the ease of an RE20/27.
Some lower end examples are stuff like the SM10a, the 512, etc, whilst some higher end full on headsets that are usually used for TV sports commentators include stuff like the HMD25-XQ by Sennheiser.
The microphones are just capsule condensers (or dynamics if you're looking for super high end) though and you can find them in Sennheiser's gaming headsets, the AntLion ModMic, and a select few headsets. Albeit they aren't as good as the higher end stuff, but better than those terrible clip on Zalman mics and the desktop Logitech microphone.
Someone buy Welt a title that says "Weltmeister, Doctorate in everything. Majored in Microphones"

Well I do work in radio, whaddya expect?
e: I didn't know much about headphones till recently though. Thanks headphone thread
Well my point still stands that the average FPer probably doesn't want a sportcaster's headset

I love it. Got it for a good deal as well £199.99 with Fifa, think it came to around £290 for Vita, Fifa, Uncharted, 8GB memory card and the starter pack.
Had loads of change as well only had to pay £110 after all the change.
