Astute observation, my good man. And as a bonus, this was sitting on top of the bookshelf: Fucking TIE bombers.
I enjoy seeing the progression of it as time goes by. Fostex + T50RPs were being used by family members so didn't make the photoshoot.
What keyboard is that? It looks marvelous
Happy hacking professional 2.
its missing like half the keys
its missing like half the keys
they were lost in a horrible accident :(
Amputee keyboard, don't make fun!
Happy hacking professional 2.
I've just seen the price and died slightly, I wish I had enough money to blow on a keyboard alone.
[editline] [/editline] lol just kidding
Made it more cozy sorry for the repetitive posting
I've just seen the price and died slightly, I wish I had enough money to blow on a keyboard alone.
The HH is a Topre board, of course it costs so much. You could get a KBC Poker which has the same form factor and costs less, whilst still being mechanical and awesome.
Which screen is that and how did you mount it? I plan to do the same then may have a 2nd monitor on the desk.
BenQ G2420HD, mounted via a flush VESA mount (50x50mm), got it for £7 on eBay. Nothing special but it works perfectly.

I'll look into this. What's the quality like and contrast, etc? My current is a 22" and I was tempted to go 27" so I'd have a bigger screen for sim racing, but a lot of 27" are 1920x1080 and the pixels will just get stretched, it would probably be best for me to get a 24".
Pretty much the best you'll get for a TN, I went and auditioned a loads myself and decided on the BenQ.
Pretty much the best you'll get for a TN, I went and auditioned a loads myself and decided on the BenQ.
Hmm, I'm really undecided between an IPS and a TN. Whilst I do a lot of gaming, I also do video editing, watch films, etc where an IPS would be useful.. but of course you wouldn't get as small response times. Yours seems a very good price, so good that instead of buying one to go with my "silver" coloured monitor, I could buy two so I have a matching pair. Although, the response time says "5ms". Is this noticeable?
Can't say as I've never had a monitor below 5ms GToG, but there isn't any perceivable delay for me.
I have an ASUS VE258Q which is a TN panel and it's fantastic for everything, even Photoshop and shit. Significantly better brightness, contrast, color reproduction, everything over my 22 inch Chimei from 2004.

That looks Fun. Is it?

My 560ti has 1x HDMI and 2x DVI so main screen will be HDMI and other DVI. Also, sorry for threadshitting :v: This is supposed to be about posting your desk than a monitor thread.
Nvidia only supports two screens per card (Two in sli too)
I'm aware of this. Unfortunately to go to a third screen i'd need a new motherboard and another 560ti. Two screens are fine for me.

why would you put the worst monitor in the middle [editline]17th March 2012[/editline] not really middle, but in front of keyboard, so it's the main one

For instance, I have a 560ti, but the second card would have to be another 560ti same/different brand for it to work? Forgive me I have never done SLI before. [editline]17th March 2012[/editline] Just reading up, some say you can SLI two cards if they are in the same series? So getting a cheap GT520 to work with my GTX560ti? My only problem is that my Xonar DX sound card occupies my only other PCI-E slot.. The use I want by the way isn't for the power of SLI, it's just so I can get 3 monitors working particularly in iracing: Example: EDIT Oh wait, ASUS' website says I have this: 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (blue) 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black) 1 x PCIe 2.0 x1 1 x PCI I may just have enough, although the problem might be the slot next to my GFX card may block the fan off..

A 560 with a 560) and also a x16 PCIe slot in x4 might bottleneck the GPU. It's probably best you ask someone else though since I haven't really kept up to date on PC building.

Ah well, two will do for me. Maybe I can get a chair. Can anyone suggest some chairs in the UK that have lockable castors?
I got sick of multiple monitors. Back to using one. 2500k gtx580 combo, 16gb ram Then there's my HTPC setup. 500w yamaha amp, cerwin vega bookshelfs. ITX htpc set up with about 6tb total storage. 40" sony LED tv with PS3 for blu ray and G27 wheel for racing sims. Life is good.
