This thread inspired me to clean up my room. I'm getting a new desk soon, repainting the walls, and moving everything around. I know you guys don't really care but this is pretty cool to me since I haven't changed anything in this room in over 10 years.

(and works nicely) until you see my cable management D:
I clean when I get bored too, but only if it's really late at night
When I lived with my cousin for a year I changed how my room was set up every week. Now I change it up about every two weeks or so since I moved back in with my parents.
I would do that too if my room was larger or my furniture smaller
Is that keyboard (on the right) good? it's got weighted keys probably, so I assume it's good :P
Yepp, Yamaha P200. Its old and heavy but I really love it.

I have more than enough money now, I should just buy a new desk. Wonder what type of desk I should get, one that will fit in the corner would be good I suppose. Also Razer mousepads are ugly as fuck, I need a new plain mousepad.
I think I should mention between the time I joined up until literally last Saturday I was either unemployed or doing unpaid internships. I grow money from my butt. [editline]29th March 2012[/editline] I just realized every year I literally bought a new desk and did at least two or more major upgrades on my PC.

New microlab speakers! Love'em. Also, does anyone else use their mousepad vertically? I find my mouse falling off the bottom and tops if it isn't vertical, it's not exactly large though.
Also, does anyone else use their mousepad vertically? I find my mouse falling off the bottom and tops if it isn't vertical, it's not exactly large though.
I have a £2 circular Ikea one It's vertical any way I put it :(
I have a £2 circular Ikea one It's vertical any way I put it :(
Horizontal makes sense due to the aspect ratio of our monitors, but I still prefer vertical, it doubles as a soft area to lay my wrist too, I've seen some of those "gaming" mousemats that are a meter long, just overkill.
-desk- Also, does anyone else use their mousepad vertically? I find my mouse falling off the bottom and tops if it isn't vertical, it's not exactly large though.
I tend to change around which way my mousepad is lying, it really depends on what I'm doing.
Also, does anyone else use their mousepad vertically? They should just sell rolls of the stuff so I can make my whole desk mousemat-y

They're about 32 CM by 30CM and a good half a centimeter thick and extremely comfy, I can use mine without my mouse or hand ever leaving it. Best of all you can usually buy them for less than £10 http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/steelseries-qck-mass-gaming-mouse-mat-11361572-pdt.html?srcid=867&cmpid=comp~Google~~11361572&istCompanyId=9a35962d-802d-4e67-9721-0a3328ca1f02&istItemId=iliptriq&istBid=t
It'd ruin the clean white of my desk though, maybe if they did it in plain white without the silly logo. Plus the one I have now is REAL LEATHER and if I changed I couldn't use that joke anymore.

Matt Smith just doesn't suit the doctor in my opinion, he's just too quirky and a little young, David Tennant had the quirky down perfectly without going overboard and the other doctors are before my time.
I prefer to think of each doctor as a unique personality (which they are supposed to be). And each one suits their companions rather well. Matt Smith goes well with Amy Pond, and Tennant goes well with Rose and Martha. I guess it's because people assume that when the doctor transitions they imagine the new doctor with the old ones personality. When in truth they develop a new personality. Matt Smith is my favorite doctor so far.
I see what you're saying, I didn't like David Tennant for a good 5-6 episodes but then he grew on me and quickly became my favourite, Matt Smith just doesn't feel like a millennium year old time lord with infinite knowledge to me.
