Oh man don't even get me started on the people who don't remove the plastic if they buy a new phone.
or people who don't remove the plastic from laptops
it's like "alright it's gonna get scratched sooner or later, so just go balls out and brave the elements already"
I know someone who still keeps the plastic around their Dell WFP3008 bezel. Makes me twitch every time I see it...

Lucky :v:
I have to use a big ass blue velvet couch as my computer chair, it works, but it feels cumbersome and impractical

You mean that plastic static cling stuff? The back of my monitor still has it. And I bought it a year ago.

The factory plastic that keeps the aluminium bezel and Dell logo from getting scratched during packaging. I just want to peel it off everytime I see it, it's like a loose band-aid.
it's awful, just like the concept of screen protectors
it's gonna get scratched one way or another. the only reason I have a screen protector on anything is to get rid of a glossy surface or something, definitely not to protect from scratches

Screen protectors make sense...yeah as you said it's going to get scratched sooner or later, difference being I can whip off my screen protector in the event that it does and apply a new one whereas you have to live with the scratch (in the event you don't use one)
Could also sell a scratch-less phone for more than a scratched up one
Screen protectors look like crap though and gets rid of the smooth feel of the screen. I have never needed a screen protector because I just dedicate my phone to an empty pocket and never drop it or toss it.
Except I don't know anyone who actually replaces scratched screen protectors
I certainly haven't

That's a bit of a waste of money then.....especially since you get like 5 in one pack
I waste those because dust finds their way under the first couple attempts

I love my flippy phone, don't have to worry about scratches

Is it really that hard to wipe with a cloth before?

Until your girlfriend uses it and scratches the screen with her earrings! :v:
Is it really that hard to wipe with a cloth before?
because there totally aren't particles in the air or anything
do you think I'm really that fucking stupid

Steam up your bathroom to rid the dust particles...
If you didn't know that then possibly but I'm not going to judge you on your inability to perform a simple task

I like my desk, don't like the carpet much though.
Why is your PC wearing a fedora?
Why do you own a fedora?

I don't think that's a fedora. It's not triangular enough.
