It is cheesy, but my grandfather got it for me years ago as a gift so I still use it.

Corsair Carbide 500R
Does anyone know of mood lighting that works with PCs?
Are you talking about LED strip lights or something to get the missus in the mood?
I'm talking about LEDs with microcontroller and PC interface.

You could try this I guess. There are probably premade and cheaper solutions out there though; I just posted it because I noticed it in my bookmarks/favourites and figured it might help you.

Enjoy. Requires some simple DIY work, but anyone can do this, really.
In addition, this will actually react to color changes on the monitor, rather than randomly fade between different colors. So this is great for gaming and movies, not just easing strain on the eyes.

My desk is a 50 year old dresser at the moment :v:
Man I should clean up, break out the dslr, and take some pics.
Here is the model of my desk anyway (except mine is black instead of silver).
Do you like that desk? It doesn't look very deep. Which is important for me.

The pictures don't do it a very good job, it's a fine fit for me (~5' 9", ~1.75m).
If I'm leaning back I can rest my legs up on that bar that goes across.
I use a 12V LED strip I got off of ebay to light my keyboard tray. Needed a little bit of soldering because I didn't have the right adaper but the stuff is great.
It doesn't come off unless you actually tug at it, strong tape on the back.

I'll take a pic at some stage.

This looks like a perfect LED strip to use, you can cut it up into ten separate 10cm (3 LEDs) sections
Yeah I know about that, I'm currently trying to find someone who sells thsoe things premade, as I think I saw that around before. Otherwise I'll have to make it myself.

What desk is that?
It looks really cool.
Once again Ikea comes up with the goods. It's called 'Micke'. The drawers on the right are separate.

If you do find someone that does them premade could you post please? It looks great. I would make it however im useless when it comes to DIY let alone eletrics

Definitely getting one now, just need to figure out where to put it.

Alright so I need help finding a place to put this desk in my room... I've got a small ass room only 12 x 10, I can fit the desk and the bed but I'm trying to figure out where would be the best place to make it feel bigger in my room.

The desk with the cabinet is 68 by 19.
Also I open my windows during the day so the light faces the door

If possible I'd recommend like this:
(Depends on whether the door opens inwards or outwards and how much space you need to get through)

If not then this:

Please excuse terribad drawings.
