I take it that is a 24" monitor? I asked you about it before and remember it being a BenQ. Monitors always look a lot bigger on the wall :v: I was thinking of getting a 120hz again (after a bad batch I kept getting with Amazon) or get a 27", but it would have to be 1080.. either that or mount two 23/24" monitors to my wall, unsure :(

Aye it's 24", I want an IPS but waiting for a new standard resolution, I can't justify buying an IPS that isn't 1440/1600p when it's just around the corner.

I've been using a 23" monitor for years and I thought that size was fine and dandy but I had a p.big room for my first year of uni and came extremely close to buying a larger monitor/TV so I could lie in bed and watch stuff. Then I realised I was going to be moving in to a far smaller room after summer so I didn't bother. Still tempted to get a 24 or 27" monitor but at a higher resolution than 1080.

Can anyone recommend any 27" monitors that are refurbished that offer higher than 1080 resolution? Even if it's an older model. I was considering a 27" 1080 monitor alongside a small portraited monitor, but unsure how 1080 is on a 27". Be great for films sat in bed.
I don't want to risk it with these korean monitors..

well im all settled in in my new dorm. Its really small. And my big ass speakers wouldnt fit so i just ordered some corsair sp2500s to replace them. They should arrive tuesday, hopefully they're a worthy replacement

Temporary set up, should be getting my second monitor Monday and then I can finish putting my desk area together and fix my terrible cable management.

I did, but only because my laptop is almost old enough to legally drink in Europe. That being said, I've never lived in dorms, always in rented houses, but my experience from friends' dorms are that everything is pretty secure.
I think I'd be fine with bringing mine. Because I can't even move it myself. I could just chain it to the wall if I felt the need to. It has those big handles on it.
Moved my huge pc to my dorm yesterday. It's not a big deal.
