I was going to get one but people complained about the bad IPS glow but actually looks really nice. It's just annoying Overclockers has it up for £380 now instead of £320. Worth the risk for a B grade at £270? It could be dead pixels, packaging torn, etc. If it's one dead pixel, at that resolution and being mounted to the wall like yours, I really couldn't complain. It's just annoying Overclockers has it up for £380 now instead of £320.[/QUOTE] I researched for quite a bit and the Korean monitors can still be great buys, I just wanted peace of mind and in-country warranty, I believe the DGM uses Samsung panels where as the Korean monitors (and I believe the iMac cinema displays/dells) use the same or very similar LG panels, the DGM doesn't have any quality benefit at all and is a little pricier in general compared to the Korean monitors, but you're paying the extra for reliability, and no dead/stuck pixels due to A/A+ panels is also a big benefit. Either way, 1440p is lovely. Also remember that those who post in forums explaining issues/looking for help are the vast minority of buyers, people tend to be vocal about issues and those with perfectly good panels are just enjoying them, which is a given for all things technological including the Korean versions.
