The only benefit the Dells have over the cheaper 2560x1440s are less chance of getting a faulty/DOA/Deadpixel ridden monitor, better service/warranty and probably more accurate colour reproduction out of the box, the cheaper glossy displays should technically look better due to having a glossy finish rather than the sun-deflecting matte ones they use now, the new U2713HM uses a lighter matte coating though.
