I love wood floors. My house was built in 1908 and all our floors are restored original.
All right next to a full sized fridge and kitchenette. I'm pleased with my living arrangements this year. [editline]clairty[/editline] The hat is finn's hat, from Adventure Time for anyone who is wondering.
Those are some ugly shoes.
Room temp coke, eww.
Tastes better than room temp Pepsi. I'll drink it at room temp or cold myself. Fucking delicious.
I'm planning on getting one of those Corsair K90 Keyboards, what do you think of it and are they worth the money?
I haven't posted my updated setup in a long time. I rewired my desk and moved my DAC more to the side. These photos were taken right after doing the wiring. So stuff is all over. It has it's issues, but I do think it's worth the money. The keys feel... kind of classic to type on. They are reds, so no click only when bottoming out. But it is decent to type on. The aluminum plate looks nice and is really aluminum, damn thick too, makes the board feel very solid. I don't use the G-Keys, but I wanted them anyways. I don't use the software, though I have it installed. The back lighting is good, though isn't uniform. Mech keys are brighter and membrane are dimmer. The wrist wrest feels so good, it's that hybrid textured plastic. It's plastic, but has a rubber sensation to it and it wipes clean well. The cable on it is really really solid and braided well, the USB passthrough is great as it's full speed from the back of your computer. I use it for flashdrives and sometimes hooking my camera up to it. Overall, worth the money, give it about a week before considering returning it because as many of you know, I hated this board for almost a week and now I love it.
Okay awesome, I'm glad I heard someones opinion on this keyboard, I've only used MX cherry blue keys before but do you know if the reds feel like blue without the click noise? and the backlight keys are bright yes? :D
It has it's issues, but I do think it's worth the money. Yeah I figure the noise options for mechanical keyboards are LOUD and LOUD.
Yeah I figure the noise options for mechanical keyboards are LOUD and LOUD.
Pretty much. Das Keyboard are kind of taking the piss when they say it's "Silent"
Pretty much. Das Keyboard are kind of taking the piss when they say it's "Silent"
I have the Das Keyboard(blue switches) , and I use it at my workplace. and nobody seems to care about the "noise" It isn't THAT loud.
I have the Das Keyboard(blue switches) , and I use it at my workplace. and nobody seems to care about the "noise" It isn't THAT loud.
I also have a Das Ultimate. It's still pretty loud compared to a normal keyboard. Although no-one in the house has complained about it yet.
The only noise you're hearing is the bottoming out of the keys and the blues clicky switch. The actual switches themselves can be "Silent" though.
I don't hear much of a difference
The sound you mostly hear is the key coming back up and "topping out" It is much quieter in use. It also feels softer when typing. I highly recommend them, regardless of the video.
My wife and I share a desk. Give it up for the classy beach chairs Antec 1100 (mine) on the right and an Antec 300 (Hers) under the left monitor.
I had one of those a while back, but the constant noise and heat wasn't worth the 30 seconds I saved getting a drink from the kitchen.
That's interesting. Some of the reviews from sites other than Sears noted some loud noise when the fridge started up to cool down again, but heat was never really a factor.Although, here in Arizona where I already deal with constant heat and have an AC just for that I'm not totally worried about it.
I use craigslist when shopping for a mini fridge. [t]http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/Bladeboy311/100_0233.jpg[/t] I've bought three that are similar to that one for $50. Tis the season with college starting up.
