I just got my first touchphone - HTC Touch2 - and I can't find neat apps for it. XDA has nothing interesting to add too.
I'm on windows mobile 2003, same position, infact I'm worse off than you.
WM6.5 was made before the hole app boom came around, you probably won't find shit, believe me i tried, i use a 2007 samsung SGH-i600
Found good looking games. Too bad my display resolution isn't 400 x 800.
You haven't tried hard enough then :v:
i don't really care much, i got an ipod touch 4g so media wise it keeps me pretty busy :v:
I have a Samsung Omnia that runs 6.1 and it nice but everything dropped support now. but one of my favorite things was that I could emulate ps1 games on it and use my PS3 controller with it through Bluetooth, the only problem with that was holding the phone too.

I've got an Omnia 2. The most I have, app-wise is Swype and SPB Mobile Shell (cus the default UI is just terrible). I'm getting an Galaxy S2 next week though, so I won't have to put up with WinMo for much longer.
Flash android to it
The Android on HTC MEGA? According to XDA, it isn't finished yet.
WinMo 6.5, oh how that sets me back...
My god. You made a huge mistake, buddy. I've been using WM 6.1 which is arguably better than 6.5, but is still the most terrible mobile OS ever. WM is pretty terrible in general. I would highly suggest sending it back and getting an Android phone.
Oh god, I remember my old shitty PDA with WinMo. I tried installing a YouTube program on it, it crashed miserably every time. I was ready to dig my eyes out. And that god damn touch screen calibration. It would fuck up every time. I was glad when the charger slot broke and it never turned on again.
My dad gave it to me. He has HTC Android. I'm happy with it because it has 3.5mm jack for my headphones(which my cat chewed it to broken state). Better than Sony Ericsson.
I had Windows Mobile 6.5 on my HD2 until I reflashed it with HyperDroid. (Custom CM7 Android ROM.) Needless to say, I'll never go back to Windows Mobile.

I think he means an HTC manufactured Android phone...
Get a windows phone 7, believe me, they're awesome. (well, not quite yet, you'll have to hold out for the mango update)
