I think a GTS250 and a q6600 at 3GHZ running furmark and prime95 was a little too much for a 350 watt PSU. about 10 seconds after starting the torture tests, the fan was running at full tilt, another 10 seconds later, the computer shut off. [editline]15th July 2012[/editline] Speaking of that machine, would a G31 chipset bottleneck the CPU and GPU compared to a p35?

He has some ultrabudget MoBo, he will upgrade from AM2+ to AM3+ too, his current one has only 2 DDR2 slots, he will look at one with 4 DDR3 slots. But his case is M-ATX, so his options are limited. So is his money. Also he has a 5.1 system and his current MoBo only has 3 sound ports, that limited him too (Realtek Drivers are awesome tho, he was able to change Line in and Mic to center/sub and whatever) But his router was fucking up too, started flashing all the lights from up to down like it is on a rave or something. Probably lost connection to ISP-s servers or some shit and fucked up. Thats what our ISP provided routers do when the connection slightly fucks up for some gay-ass reason.

I just read that I should connect my SSD into a port controlled by an Intel chipset, not ASMedia.
