Why are you still using VGA a connector from 1987. DVI is there since 1999.
Why are you still using computers? They were there since 1936
[editline]14th August 2012[/editline] Bias'd.
Don't tell me i am Bias'd i had Nvida: Geforce 6600 LE and Geforce 7900GTX i also had plenty of AMD:ati all in wonder x800 and Radeon 850 XT. I have used both and i never had any major problems. And when i had problems it was either my own fault or it could be fixed by tinkering a bit. Also Monitors were quite expensive yes, but since almost 2010 the prices dropped.
I really wish I had a job with computers, the closest thing I get to a computer at work is this Literally, a keypad.

The only cheap hard disks i found on eBay are Hitachi fucking Travelstars. Fuck you IBM, go eat a dick.
Finished building a HTPC for someone, I love the look of these things, cable management is impossible though but you can keep them out of the way of the core components.

When I get my new TV in a few weeks I want to build an HTPC that will double as the household server. I've already got the HDD's and I got the cost down to $260 for the case, ION based system and Ram.

HTPC Silverstone HTPC Case Zotac ATOM/ION 4GB Gskill DDR3 SO-DIMM 60GB OCZ Vertex Plus R2 Server Rosewill MicroATX Tower Gigabyte Iton Atom D525 Mini ITX Logisys PSU (I know, but It's got a massive amount of good reviews) 2GB Crucial DDR3 60GB OCZ Vertex Plus R2 SSD I've got mass storage drives already that will go into the server, so that's all I need up front for now. Pretty good deal on all of that, that's a lot of hardware and functionality for $500.
I may be late but.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/IDTqJ.jpg[/t]
The fuck? When did it come out?
I just got off the phone with eBuyers technical RMA team and wow, they really know their shit hardware wise, we started talking about APUs and windows 8, and icing on the cake is they pay for collection of the faulty parts, SCAN have the best prices but I've never had as good support as eBuyer.
The fuck? When did it come out?
I thought Nvidia didn't make cards themselves? Not seeing any sort of other branding there.
I thought Nvidia didn't make cards themselves? Not seeing any sort of other branding there.
They do make some of their own boards (Not sure who with) for their low end cards. The chips themselves are fabbed with TSMC, all of Kepler is on TSMCs 28nm process, and as far as I know the first few batches of cards like the GTX 680 and whatnot are made by Nvidia and sent out to OEMs who just stick their own coolers, stickers, etc on.
I thought Nvidia didn't make cards themselves? Not seeing any sort of other branding there.
They do, reference model
I've always secretly wanted a reference nvidia card
I've always secretly wanted a reference nvidia card
Why's that a secret? They have nice designs.

ummmm... how do I logout of facepunch?
ummmm... how do I logout of facepunch?
Try to use the search. It will tell you that you don't have premission to use it and it will give you the option to log out The more fun answer is: You Don't. Trapped FOREVER
