It's pinned, have you guys ever used a computer?
Not to mention humans only have two ears. Seriously. Headphones allow for simulated surround sound by default and at least BF3 does it decently with its stereo mode.
i have 3 [editline]bleh[/editline] ears, that is
I have 2 Samsung HD502IJ which have about 16mb buffer, so should i notice any difference ? When starting up steam etc.
The buffers are best for sustained writing and reading. Making them great for media and storage drives. And for recording and editing. I pull over 200% faster speeds than my old 640GB 16mb WD Blues. With my RAID10 I pull low level SSD transfer speeds. If I ran them all in RAID0 I'd have 12TB of about 650MB/s speeds. Counter Strike source blows it out of the water. Unless BF3 audio is just terrible for me. I never can hear where people are in that game. And I'm running my Denon AH-D2000's off my Maverick D1 dav/amp and then through optical to my Realtek ACL889. The soundstage increased dramatically moving from onboard DAC to my external one. But Maybe I need to get a soundcard too. But I avoided that because I can't fit one in my case. [editline]15th August 2012[/editline]
I have the G35 and the surround sound is actually fairly decent.
It may be, but like other people have said, we only have 2 ears, and with speakers about a CM away from your ear, you can do better with higher quality large drivers found in nicer headphones.
Me personally love the "gimmicky" 7.1 sound that my soundcard gives to my headphones. I love it because it feels more "open" than the stereo option.
i have 3 [editline]bleh[/editline] ears, that is
Well aren't you special.
Buy a pair of jeklin floats if you want soundstage.

Nice, now that my Zenbook has 10GB of ram, I can record GTA IV videos with fraps at around 25fps :v: [sp]yes I know fraps sucks but it's all I have atm[/sp]
Why limit yourself to only hear things? You can move your head and break your neck trying to move yourself in-game with this wonderful device: Also, it was a cable spaghetti monster.

Installed a be quiet cooler today, never been this impressed with a cooler since a Zalman I got in 2004, it makes my computer inaudible even on load, and their fans don't look like vomit which is a plus (Noctua).
Which be quiet, what temps, what proc, what speed, what blck, what voltage
Have you ever wanted to look like the most retarded person in the world?
That plus iPod breath recharger and gaming glasses.
don't forget some snacks
I demand one of you do this now. Don't worry, those gadgets and other shit will probably cover up enough of your face to be unrecognisable. If not, additionally don sunglasses.
I've been trying to point out the Be Quiet! coolers for ages, no-one seemed to listen.
I'd like to compare it noise wise to the NH-D14, sine I hit around 75 with dual fans. And at 4.5
11.2db according to my sound level.

I had a Xonar DG before I got an external amp/dac, it kept making buzzing noises, probably interference, drove me up the wall.
My ram came in. Wish I was on X79 to be honest. And I'd have like 48gb of ram for ramdriving. But 32gb will have to do for now. I plan on moving to Ivybridge E when it comes out. Delicious PCIe lanes.
