I opened vk.com (Russian facebook ) to get in contact with my old friends and the first thing I see is my friend (Who used to be an OK person) ranting about how women are worse then men, that they shouldn't be allowed to vote and that the arrest of pussy riot was a correct thing to do Never thought opening a social networking website can make me that sad [editline]17th August 2012[/editline] I scrolled through my news feed, now I know what hell looks like Never again Facebook girls now seem like really nice people to me
the public pages on VK are mad
the public pages on VK are mad
I knew you'd post But yeah, the situation in there is basically all the worst of Facebook * 1000 I remember when it was nice and didn't steal features from Facebook. Good times...
Note: Never, EVER read the comments on the PHP docs page for goto. Hell awaits you, particularly here (if you're wondering why I was even there, I was checking to see if PHP supported Perl-style named loops. It does not, but it does let you break out of multiple loops in one shot which does the same thing in a slightly-less-readably manner)
I remember I was using goto instead of while loops in c# I feel ashamed
I've never used a single GoTo in my life. and I'm proud of it :v:
I've never used a single GoTo in my life. and I'm proud of it :v:
I used one once in C, mostly to see my teacher's reaction, but also because the logic to work it out into loops and functions was too much work. I used them constantly in TI-BASIC, but that's because I had no better option (the language has no user-defined functions).
More content from Ebay.
I don't know if he's trying to sell the laptop for more than it's worth or if he is just that dumb.
I don't know if he's trying to sell the laptop for more than it's worth or if he is just that dumb.
A little bit of both
Why were you even on Ebay?
Why not start up an Amiga machine since your name suggests you should have one? [editline]17th August 2012[/editline] Worried about light/casual gaming? Boing Ball.
He is looking for a think pad so he can install Amiga on it, silly
I think the thinkpad that guy was selling should barely meet the requirements for Amiga. Take the deal.
Just type properly, if they can't understand proper English, that's their fucking problem.
You don't deal much with people I guess. They don't stop.
I got the official PS3 headset (for $5 mind you). It sounds wonderful. Not sure if I would have dropped the full $100 on it, but definitely would have paid $75.
I'm fixing a computer for a family friend and it appears to have a dying hard drive. I was told that I should try to get her pictures off it (Which I managed to do within Linux) and that she was considering buying a new computer if it's not worth being fixed. I did a quick search on newegg.ca and the cheapest 500GB HDD is about $90 after tax and shipping. I hope she does consider getting a new computer. My dad is finally getting a new TV and since the computer is half decent (Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, some low-end Nvidia card), I think it would make an awesome HTPC if I throw in a cheap 30GB SSD. Right now we're using an Xbox running XBMC, which won't do HD. I could use my Raspberry Pi, though I'd be limited to just video playback... [editline]17th August 2012[/editline]
Why were you even on Ebay?
What's wrong with eBay? I buy stuff from there all the time.
Which is better: TI-83 Plus, or TI-89 Titanium? I've been using the TI-83 plus for a couple years now, but I have the choice to upgrade to a TI-89. The TI-83 has served me faithfully for a couple years, and I have done a ton of programming on it and such.
TI-89 has a higher number, it must be better
So today they gave my mom her school-issued netbook. Get ready for shitty "people who can't computers too good" content. Paying for minecraft skins, my face when I have no face
Crysis 3 graphics will “melt down PCs” says Crytek http://www.eteknix.com/news/crysis-3-graphics-will-melt-down-pcs-says-crytek/ I think not.
Crysis 3 graphics will “melt down PCs” says Crytek http://www.eteknix.com/news/crysis-3-graphics-will-melt-down-pcs-says-crytek/ I think not.
If that's true, then how the fuck are they developing it?
If that's true, then how the fuck are they developing it?
tri 690's in every dev rig [editline]17th August 2012[/editline] and a nuclear reactor in the basement :v:
This. On facebook I literally have to type with terrible grammar and spelling or they just are like, "haha lol waht"
See, even the shittypers on my Facebook understand if I use proper English. I feel really sorry for you guys that have to lower your communications quality to communicate with these people.
Ended up not buying the six LCD panels because they were too small and consumed too much power to really be worth it. I instead picked up two LG L204WT's Goodbye two 21" CRT's. You will be missed.
Kind of late, but I have 2 of these. Absolutely fantastic monitors for when I got them (like 2006?) and still work great.
I hate dickheads like that. My Facebook is rammed with people who only talk to me when they need me for something. +1 for you.
Someone must not like to hang out with friends too often

For a long time I thought I'd go with those 1080p panels... but now I'm thinking, those 27" Korean panels might be same pixel pitch. For a long time I thought they weren't but now I'm really curious to try and fin numbers for it.

Unless you get an expensive cheap monitor
