Are there any good water cooling sets available for gpus?
Not if you don't want to do a custom loop.
Well say i want to do a custom loop. Do i have to change the gpu plates all the time or did they make anything that you can reuse on every gpu? Kinda silly to use 60€s or more on a gpu block, everytime there is a new high end gpu.

Blu Ray CD
Laser floppy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floptical :science:
Laserdisc is better.

I dislike optical media because scratches and load time Can't they like use proprietary flash drives for stuff like games and such, it'd be like going back to cartridges
Laserdisc is better.
Heh, the IT guys at my old high school kept a Laserdisk over the doorway. Pretty much nobody knew what it was except the nerdiest of the tech guys. [editline]19th August 2012[/editline]
I dislike optical media because scratches and load time Can't they like use proprietary flash drives for stuff like games and such, it'd be like going back to cartridges
Or hell, nonproprietary. Just use USB. I was going to say "with some mod to make it read-only", but then I realized you could put your saves on it as well, and even patch the game. You'd probably want to encrypt it or something to keep "hackers" from getting to it, but that's simple enough.
I was talking to wingar about this the other day. All you need is a large ROM chip inside for the base content and possibly a decently sized NAND chip for storing saved games or even perhaps DLC content.
downloadable content content
Looks like you're suffering from RAS Syndrome.
I don't think companies would agree to something as simple as USB, but a NAND chip you can store data into would be a great idea 4GB flash drives can go down to $2-5 in bulk, and that's consumer bulk, not international company "buying a million drives" bulk. It'd kill loading/installing times and be way easier to store and cheaper to transport, even if it came with a DS-size case for it.
Can anyone recommend any watercooling sets? I would like to use it for my gpu only. If you could setup a list for a custom loop that would be appreciative.
I don't even have a DVD drive in my PC, its useless now that we have steam and stuff like netflix [editline]19th August 2012[/editline]
Looks like you're suffering from RAS Syndrome.
RAS Syndrome Syndrome
I don't even have a DVD drive in my PC, its useless now that we have steam and stuff like netflix
I have no space in mine :(
I have no space in mine :(
I got a disconnected one. I could not find a space power cable when i put in my second drive :v:
I dislike optical media because scratches and load time Can't they like use proprietary flash drives for stuff like games and such, it'd be like going back to cartridges
What's cheaper and faster to do on a large scale: stamping a piece of glass or writing to flash drives.
I reformatted my computer to try and fix a crashing issue. It didn't work. I'll probably have to replace the graphics card. :suicide:
Is this content or am I just casually failing to understand
The graphics drivers will randomly crash, sometimes with a bsod. I've tried every fix I've ever seen to try and fix it. The reformat was a last resort. Since the reformat didn't fix it I'm assuming it's a hardware problem.
4GB to 8GB makes a huge difference, you have so much more freedom. After upgrading my Zenbook, it's like a desktop in laptop form. There's no limits :science:
Don't really need a page file with 16Gb of RAM right? Have nowhere to put it.
Last year I upgraded from an old core two duo, 3 gb of ram and a crt screen to an i3, 8 gb of ram and a 1080p screen It was amazing
Why don't you get an i7-3930K? (6 Cores, 12 Threads) The X79 chipset supports up to 64GB on 8 DIMM slots. I have 8x4GB at the moment.
Because that's like a 700$ upgrade, I'd rather just wait for IvyE. [editline]19th August 2012[/editline]
I was going to actually start a defrag and post the image just to mess with wingar :v:
I actually did defrag my SSD. Then I sent Wingar screenshots. [editline]19th August 2012[/editline]
"Blu-ray DVD"
Actually I think they mean a dual layer DVD. Since 40Gbps is about 5GB/s and a dual layer DVD is about 8.5-9GB [editline]19th August 2012[/editline]
Don't really need a page file with 16Gb of RAM right? Have nowhere to put it.
You should still have a page file to be safe.
Don't really need a page file with 16Gb of RAM right? Have nowhere to put it.
I put my pagefile to 16MB on my 8GB+ PCs
You should still have a page file to be safe.
This, but I'd suggest you don't go past 8GiB for the size because it's unlikely you'll have to swap out all of your memory. I have eight of RAM and I've set my pagefile to a static four and had no issues.
