Thinking of an 830 for my system drive too. Might go for 512gb, my steam folder is gigantic.
Mine is pretty large too, though I'm likely going to move it to my 1TB Spinpoint F3. I'll use Link Shell Extension to copy over games that I want to load quickly. I have a 128GB Crucial M4 in my laptop and it was fine with a few steam games and applications, though I copied the steamapps folder to the hard drive that's in the DVD drive bay since it would give me enough space to dual boot Windows 8.
It's also causing problems in stuff such as Skype, with some directories (C:\ProgramData\EA Logs, for example, along with %appdata%\Skype) being corrupted.

Run chkdsk /f C: and reboot.

Already done, didn't fix it.
I'm at my uncle's place right now and since they don't have AMC, I'm missing breaking bad tonight.
That got me thinking, I moved my Linux server down to the basement and it's near a cable TV splitter... Is there some way that I could stream TV to my PCs and maybe my Android phone? I obviously need a tuner, though what software would both allow me to both watch the video and change the channels?
Or should I just drop $120 on used/refurbished Slingbox?
Dell 30 arrived. :v:

Oh, and David Tennant - screen anti matte seems fine, no 'sparkles' when you sit 1+ft away. Very close up you can see them though.
Poor quality, but content nonetheless - http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1207464&p=37390284&viewfull=1#post37390284

Why does everyone brick their old phones? Can't you just sell them so you have 50 bucks instead of turning them into a paperweight?
It's not like they're bricking them on accident or anything
I don't get it, why is my computer able to play High Res games at max graphics, but then trying to load facebook it shits itself :smith:
How much will I get if I sell my Eee PC 904HD?
$90. That's my offer since its a celeron m 900mhz and XP with 915G gma. Its not worth a lot.
Well, at least I'll get a bit, I've seen others on ebay running around £90 starting bid, others have sold for £95.
I've had a look at the completed listings and they seem to worth a bit, if new.
The hard disk in mine is slower than a mule walking.
And I am back after a week of Croatia.
Also whats with the new Steam Community Beta thingy?

[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
The Nexus S is pretty cheap at this point (so is the Gnex TBH) it still runs jellybean rather well.
I'm really not sure of how these prices even happened
I could probably order a Nexus 7 from the US for cheaper total than that
I can't be the only one who cringes at people using low-res compressed as shit facebook photos as their wallpaper
on full stretch, ruining the aspect ratio

Isn't the whole 200$ phone thing over in the States due to the carrier's subsidizing the rest of the price, and then they milk it out of you over the super expensive 2-year contract?
The carriers in Finland use the whole monthly payment model of subsidization, they make it a big more expensive and lock you into a 2-year contract, but they don't milk the 200 bucks out of you at the start of the contract.
A Galaxy S3 is 24.45€ a month. The normal one-off price is 589€, with a 24-month contract the price of the device ends up being 586,8€, but the plans are shitloads cheaper than in America, you can get the 21mbps 3.5G unlimited plan for like 13,90€ a month.
Anyone know if the Kingston 120GB V+ 200 SSD is any good?
I've found it on sale for a good price

They're budget SSDs, you get what you pay for.

Oh yeah I forgot how US carriers worked, thanks for reminding me.
I really want that Galaxy Nexus though.
One left in the store.
Blrblrblrblrblrblr.
Oh great, I have 2 persons in MSN who have their users taken over by a bot.
What advertises some porn site / webcam site.
What is disguised as a reddit thingy.
aka reddit.com/tb/xxxxx
That just adds a reddit toolbar on top of a site. nice.

Is it any good for $80-90?
Because Grand Theft Auto 4 requires better hardware than Crysis to run at high settings, and because the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions of GTA 4 run at high settings, then of course Crysis could run at high.
Pffffahahaha, maybe if incredibly low resolution textures and no antialiasing counts as 'high' settings
I always bought Kingston valueram till I built my current rig, I'm guessing they are of the same quality.
Which was brilliant for the price might I add.
