now that's uptime.
for a windows desktop anyway

Also today someone reached out to me via ebay about two items on ebay they wanted to purchase. They copy and pasted the item code from other seller's URLs. I don't have anything listed on ebay for sale. The kicker? I sold this guy something in May.
Ugh, weren't able to find the uptime from my fathers work computer quickly enough. XP-s task manager didn't show it for some gay-ass reason.
He never turns it off, not even standby or hibernate (Unless it automatically does that)
I don't have any work for tomorrow so I can't check the uptime on it then, but I guess it is a fuckload.
Well this is my work PC too :v:
Considering 4 months ago we got SSDs and had to reinstall Windows, that 93 days probably started when it was fully up to date

No love for BSD, I see.
And I don't really know if Linux is "bad" for using ELF instead of PE32/64
Okay, so my second replacement Corsair H60 arrived this morning to replace the replacement which had the pump buzzing issue. Took the old one out, shoved the new one in, turned the PC on, everything sounds lovely and quiet. Start firing some stuff up and wonder why my fan is doing a mile a minute, and then open AITools to find that not only is my CPU at 65c, the pump is completely DoA (no matter which port I plug it into) - cue frantic effort to shut it down before a molten hole forms through space and time. Guess I'm going to have to send an email asking them what the fuck they think they're doing (will probably just ask for a refund at this point)
Not only that, but I just ate a jam doughnut from a pack of 5 and I had the one with no jam in it. Today is going EXCELLENTLY.

Pretty sure another sipwicketter had 3 years of uptime on a desktop

closed loops = bad / waste of time / use air or proper water / etc.
For some reason, my khuler 620 is working absolutely fine
Could it be that mounting both the rad and pump upside down makes it not suck?
Does VAT apply to me (in the US) if I buy something online from the UK?
Yes.
well, it looks like facepunch doesn't like transparent backgrounds on avatars :saddowns:
well, it looks like facepunch doesn't like transparent backgrounds on avatars :saddowns:
It does. You're just doing something wrong.
(Was your avatar downscaled by any chance?)
I couldn't tell ya. It was done by a nice man in the avatar requests. When I open the png in paint.net, it hsaa the transparent background. I don't know why it doesn't work on here
It's because he probably made it at 80x80 instead of 64x64, so it downscaled and removed transparency
[editline]16th July 2012[/editline]
manually shrink it in paint.net and it'll work
I hate the new restriction for avatars
I can't have a theme on mine anymore, or i would lose 80 x 80

Probably garry trying to make people get gold.
You're going to the wrong parties man.
Also, out of interest, I checked what the worth of BTC is right now. Wow, that thing dropped so badly.
I sold a BTC for 17$ back when the craze was going on, and now MtGox's latest price is 7 and a half USD.
Because of the huge market crash.
it's already 64x64

Is the filesize under 9.8 kilobyes?
it's 7.14

It's not really "new", is it
It's not really "new", is it
When was it implemented then?
Pepper;36797196']When was it implemented then?
Pretty sure it was before the whole buying gold thing.
like january
I almost got a heart attack when I realised the scroll wheel wasn't working on my mouse.
A few taps under the mouse and it works again. Phew, that gave me a scare.

The most recent version of ShareX has an interesting tool.

I have a choice. AT&T or Comcast for Home TV, Internet, and home phone provider. AT&T is a bit cheaper with a bit faster internet and more channels, so we think we're going to switch, but I want to make sure they don't report you to the MPAA or RIAA if you pirate anything. My dad pirates so much stuff and comcast hasn't caught him, but AT&T looks like a better deal.
If you don't want to get caught, start using private torrent sites.
Comcast has always cut people a little slack from what I've seen, you could download 500gb of stuff in a month and they'd just be like "hey.... chill out man."
But what I can tell you, of course NOT from personal experience or anything, is that I have AT&T and they've never brought anything up

comcast has notoriously shitty support from what i've seen/heard/read/smelled
Also if you go with AT&T, be prepared for your speeds to randomly slow down for a few hours in the middle of the afternoon

don't worry that happens with comcast too
