Graww. My main VPS provider is getting DoS'd as I'm trying to play a game of Tekkit with a friend.
Why didn't you get a VPS provider with DDoS protection, may I ask?
Why didn't you get a VPS provider with DDoS protection, may I ask?
Because DDoS proof anything is fucking expensive
And often not quite that useful.
Why didn't you get a VPS provider with DDoS protection, may I ask?
It's not the VPS itself, it's the node. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline]
And often not quite that useful.
I completely disagree. Our Juniper EX4200's at work have been in place for about a month or so and have already saved our ass once or twice from fairly strong DoS attacks.
Dedicated DDoS protection sure, but if it's the entire node that's down that's just a poorly managed host.
Which is better, a corsair Neutron or an 830?
Probably a Neutron. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] Wingless hates me [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] Is it a Neutron GT or GTX?
Goddammit NCIX. They listed the Samsung 830 I bought as having "Drive, Bracket, SATA Cable, Power Cable, SSD Magician 3.0, Documentation" in the box, though it's just the drive, documentation and disk. Tits. The SSD shouldn't mind resting on the bottom of my case, but I'll have to buy the bracket anyway.
The 660 Ti is a great card as far as I can tell. What are you gonna do with your 6870s?
Not really sure. Kinda sad that it didn't give me an upgrade at all, but oh well. I may give one to a friend. He's trying to run BF3 on his little athlon rig.

On the product where neither are included
And there we go: http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/31/samsung-Series%209-WQHD-Ultrabook-matte-display/
UNNHGHGH sorry about that I'll go change my pants now.

So I was toying around with my broken stylus to see if there was anything wrong with it, and I looked at the ferrite core I noticed a tiny crack in it, so I put superglue on it for some odd reason it worked
Wish me luck, I'm going to brave my unfinished attic to run a Cat cable into my bedroom, I've 6 cables ran up from the basement into the attic of my two story house and now I've go to run them down in the rooms. Pray for me that I don't fall through the ceiling of the floor bellow. It will finally be nice to ditch Wifi. Wifi and a hundred and twenty year old house with thick plaster walls does not mix.
fuck yeah matte screens how can people even withstand glossy ones

Didn't mean to say that good protection doesn't exist. Also, didn't garry have some classic DDoS protection once and then FP got fucked anyway?
I have that chip right in my MBPr. HEH. That shim around the GPU die is interesting though. What material is it made out of? And how was the thermal paste?
It's just plastic to prevent the heatsink from scratching or shorting components on the chip. The thermal paste like most other preapplied ones, sucked a lot.
I finally got my Samsung Galaxy Nexus and it's amazing! And Jellybean comes out soon too, which will make the phone even faster and snappier :v:
fuck yeah matte screens how can people even withstand glossy ones
Because we care about contrast and color.

[editline]31st August 2012[/editline]
My case is the worst for cable management There's about 1-2cm of space behind the motherboard tray, tons of room for sticking cables But there isn't any holes to put the cables through
Dremel
And I prefer seeing my desktop rather than my own face being reflected back at me.
Don't use your computer in direct sunlight silly
But the Nexus has had JB from day 1, which was months ago? Unless you didn't get the global version?
Canada is on 4.0.1. Verizon and Sprint are on ICS as well. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] But he lives in Norway so yah I would assume the update is available.
On a laptop I'd rather be able to see ok most of the time than be able to see brilliantly some of the time and be able to read my t-shirt at others.
Does anyone know the difference between NVIDIA's Quadro, Verde, and GeForce drivers? I'm installing the drivers for an NVS 3100M on a coworker's laptop and it lists versions from all three series as compatible. Actually, I think it's classifying the 3100M as a Quadro series device, and offering me classic Quadro drivers, or the new Verde or Geforce series drivers as well. I installed some 301.x version listed as "Quadro new feature" drivers.
I have 4.0.4 on my Galaxy Nexus right now. Idk when Jellybean gets released in Europe.
