If you have glossy screens you could always get a seperator between whatever light source there is and your desk
I finally got my Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
am jelly
My gaming PC refused to work with my 3G modem for some reason. So, I did the most logical thing, I connected the machine straight to my laptop, and used the Windows network sharing thing on my laptop. I'm honestly surprised it actually works, hell I just got 48ms of ping on speedtest, I might actually be able to play Guild Wars 2 on this connection.
I should probably get myself a mobile phone, but I'm too much of a cheap ass to consider most of the ones I've seen around.
I should probably get myself a mobile phone, but I'm too much of a cheap ass to consider most of the ones I've seen around.
Get a cheap contract, I got a HTC Status w/ 250 texts 500mb da and 60 minutes on Virgin for £3.50
Holy shit, what a bug. In GTA: VC, you can't complete the Stunt Boat Challenge without turning Frame Limiter on because your boat will be too slow otherwise. Boat will be too slow, because you don't have frame limiter on. How much fucking sense does that make? In GTA: SA, turning the frame limiter off goes to super sanic mode, according to my friend.

The more I look at th microsoft surface the better it seems I hope microsoft won't be dumb and make the price around 200$-300$ [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] For the RT version
I just found this old photo of me: [t]http://niggaupload.com/images/yD8X2.jpg[/t] Notice the kitten pajamas :v: Oh, and I'm playing Mario on MS-DOS.
Did a low-level format on my drive without realizing what it does. Thank god windows 7 setup can create partitions.
I'm torn between Lenovo's Intel atom tablet, or the RT surface. I don't need anything considerably powerful, and the atom should do the trick if I need to run any x86 programs.
I don't know how fast is the Lenovo netbook, but my parents use a win xp Asus atom netbook and it is SLOOOOOW It's surprisingly good for games (everything pre-2005 runs at good fps, I played Fahrenheit and Swat 4 on it without any lag) but the OS itself is SOOOOO sluggish
What's your opinion on Google sites? Also any idea where I could get some good templates for it? I already have a blog for all my mapping and other stuff, but I'd like to have a website with pages dedicated to individual projects that I can use until I set up a proper portfolio or something like that. Any suggestions on better alternatives?
Did a low-level format on my drive without realizing what it does. Thank god windows 7 setup can create partitions.
Actually, no you didn't. A low level format would mean literally re-writing the magnetic domain boundaries for each sector on the drive, which isn't possible without official drive manufacturer diagnostic tools. Low level formats are occasionally confused with zero-fill operations, though.
there should be some sort of screen that changes from matte to glossy with the push of a button [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] oh and i just found out that CCleaner can disable buttons that 3rd party programs put in the windows explorer's right click menu, my life just got better
Since i haven't been on the windows 7 partition on the family mac i thought i would see if it was still okay As soon as i log in i just get bombarded with updates.
Glossy screens are still not as bad as the damn piece of glass on CRT's

The command I used was through linux was
dd if=(units)/dev/zero bs=1000MB blocks=(units)(HDDsize) of=(units)/dev/sda
or something like that, I dont remember.
Yeah, but I still love CRT's, the warm glow and the subtle blur between pixels. Can't beat it!
er
I can't believe how good this HSPA connection is, I can see why some people use this as a primary connection.
I think you're saying that the pixels don't reside in the front element but in the ray gun. This enables arbitrary scaling.
CRT's were nice too because you could use any fucking resolution you wanted to I went from like 1024x768 to 1600x1200 solely because the CRT was big enough to not make 1600x1200 look bad
But on a 15" CRT, 1280x1024 is already a pain in the butt. Also the whine, if you haven't lived with a CRT for a while, it will destroy you all the time.
I finally grabbed myself by the balls, got over myself and installed wget for Windows. My life is now better. I suggest installing it. Now I just need to figure out how to remove the localization, I want my wget in English, not in Finnish.

My old 19" XIOD could pull 1600 x 1200 at 85 HZ with no troubles.
Pepper;37499916']My old 19" XIOD could pull 1600 x 1200 at 85 HZ with no troubles.
I have some cheap-ass dell monitor I got with a tower than can do 2560x2048 @ 60Hz I have no idea how, though :v:

[editline]1st September 2012[/editline] oh man Facepunch is totally usable with lynx
I used a copy of wget for windows in a batch file chromium updater that would check to see if my build of chromium was the latest and, if not, shove my copy aside, grab the new one, and extract it with 7za. I later coded a GUI version. I also just changed my avatar, but the difference is so slight that I doubt anyone would notice. There's two changes in particular, get them both and receive a winner.
Filesize and image size. Gimme.
Filesize and image size. Gimme.
Well, I guess filesize is technically correct, but the image size (assuming you mean resolution) is the same.
