CRT monitors cap at 2560x2048. none of my CRT monitors have noticeable coil whine, they all run at either 60Hz or 85Hz, and one at 120Hz.
That depends on the monitor. The one CRT I have caps at 1280x1024, not sure if it's an aperture grille or a shadow mask one. I also have another that goes up to 2048x1536, not quite as high as yours.
File size and middle part now rotates.
The middle has always rotated. I created more frames for the animation (13 vs. 8) and played them make at the same rate, making it look a little smoother/slower. I also used a new resize algorithm that makes it quite a bit sharper than it was before. Edit: How do some blues here have 80x80 images?
So I'm checking the Facebook page for a restaurant because I was looking for something, and instead I find this: What Gunner actually posted has since been deleted, and I was asleep at 07:19, so I don't have a screenshot of what it was, but still.
Semi-content; I'm about to get $50 for formatting a friend's computer after geek squad bugged it up with one of their backup tools and want to charge $200+ to fix it even though it's under their warranty. It's amazing how almost any old computer will feel fast with a fresh install of Windows 7 and the latest drivers. [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] I kind of want to put Win8 on here and install Start8 or something but I'd rather not throw more change at her than necessary. [editline]1st September 2012[/editline] Not to mention I'm not sure if I can re-use my only Dreamspark key?
I kinda want a reference 560 ti but at the same time I don't want a shitty cooler :saddowns:
Atom bros, n570 is the fastest first Gen but its so bad in terms of its thread management, most games will clock 15-30 if its source, like I've noticed there is a huge difference between that and the n2600.
*N280. I have an Asus EEE 1000HE with an N280, and it actually hauls with 2GB of RAM and a cheap SSD. [sp]Playing music still uses 40% of the CPU[/sp]
Pepper;37502983']By not changing my avatar after the new size limit.
Blues were maxed at 64x64 when I joined back in April 2006, before my account was mysteriously deleted and I had to re-register it with the same name in 2007.

Somehow Bell gave me a Desire Z that wasn't locked. I just tried my father's SIM card (Koodo) and the damn thing worked perfectly. How the fuck did that happen.
[img]http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/965697/width/500/height/1000/flags/LL[/img That's why. AG coatings reduce clarity a ton.
I know I'm a day late but everyone keeps quoting this image and it hurts my eyes Hopefully I'm not the only one
Whats the best way to send a bunch of video to someone. They're 20GB on average, so dropbox/google drive won't work.
I forgot Evoke 2012 just happened a couple weeks ago, basically a bunch of absurdly skilled programmers showing off: That's WebGL, by the way. I tried running it in Chrome but it crashed just after loading, and Firefox would stutter badly every few seconds.
I know I'm a day late but everyone keeps quoting this image and it hurts my eyes Hopefully I'm not the only one
Sorry about that. It just annoys me when people act like matte displays are the only real choice. Some of us have rooms lit properly to account for our monitors so that ambient lighting doesn't cause background reflections, and so we can enjoy the superior contrast, clarity, and colour that a glossy display provides. I understand there are places where it's not possible but it always seems like people ignore the downfalls of heavy AG coatings on displays.
What the flying fuck is going on with my computer. So, I accidentally set the switch for my power strip to a half-way position, which causes it to repeatedly flick the power on off for everything hooked up to it, computer included. I turn the power strip back on, fire my computer back up. And then the trouble starts - 30 or 45 seconds after my machine boots, into either Windows or Linux (I checked two kernels), it immediately hangs. No mouse movement, no keyboard response, doesn't do shit. If I'm in Linux without X though, the cursor still blinks. And here's the wtf part - powering down, unplugging, removing the RAM, reseating it (no replacing or nothing, same RAM), plugging back in and turning back on. Works fine again. How does that make any goddamn sense
3mbps HSDPA + 4.5mbps ADSL would make quite a difference to me. If I tether my phone to my desktop, Transmission will only make use of one network adaptor, won't it?
Setup a Pfsense box, hook up your phone to a PC, and bridge the network to your pfsense box. Pfsense to your router/switch or w/e, and configure load balancing rules on your pfsense. QoS would be nice too. So when you need to game, you have traffic flow through your land-line, and you can have a download running over your HSDPA.. Not for the faint of heart though. I'm now hating on the AG coatings on these beautiful P-IPS or S-IPS panels. However, it's still glorious compared to my samsung TN.

So I was playing minecraft, and this guy on this server was like "I love my computer, its so fast and better than my friends.", so being the guy I am I asked him for specs, and you know what his specs were? Intel i7 2gb's of ram and a goddamn NVidia Geforce 8400.

This happened. The F3 disconnected itself some how but it was loose cabling. But hoping it doesn't happen again...
