I'm learning about mice from a 2006 document talking about how innovative scrollwheels are, how awesome optical mice are compared to ball using ones, and how wireless mice won't be here for long because of touchscreen PCs coming out
Are you very accustomed to imperial standards of measurements?
No, but I am fucking retarded. Thanks for pointing that out, somehow I think that may be slightly off the mini-ITX form factor...
Anyone have any idea where I can get the old Microsoft RTSes like Age of Mythology and Rise of Nations? Neither of them seem to be on GOG and I can't find them anywhere.
Anyone have any idea where I can get the old Microsoft RTSes like Age of Mythology and Rise of Nations? Neither of them seem to be on GOG and I can't find them anywhere.
Ubisoft isn't selling RoN anymore AFAIK.
I find it amazing that original optical mice required a mouse-mat with a grid on to detect movement.
Also look at these PS2 PORTS WWOOOWWWW now you can stop using serial! I do find it quite amazing how a ball mouse "knows" the way it's moving, though.
Hmm, anyone have any idea how practical/possible it would be to take the LEDs out of a BitFenix Colossus and replace them with an NZXT Hue? I'd like some more control over my lighting than just red/blue, and it'd be good as a simple first case mod.
Should be a piece of cake as long as they're not melted into the plastic of the case, which isn't at all likely.
I'm reasonably sure they're quite easy to remove, but it's just the problem of adding in the new ones. It's just one long (very long - 2 metres I think) LED strip, and so once it's mounted, it'll make removing the case doors a serious pain. Any way to split the cable in the middle and add detachable connectors? I'm up for some soldering if it's necessary, as long as it works and is safe.
Hi guys! Runar says hi too. He wonders if you guys miss him? Do they even remember me, he says.
wait are you like 12
wait are you like 12
No, I am 14, we went over this in Skype.
I thought you were like a year older than me wat
I thought you were like a year older than me wat
You're 11?
Hi guys! Runar says hi too. He wonders if you guys miss him? Do they even remember me, he says.
We miss him, but not you~
We miss him, but not you~
Shut up and join the skype call :saddowns:
Which skype call?
Shut up and join the skype call :saddowns:
Stop playing with a red panda and maybe I'll consider it.
Which skype call?
Whats your skype name? nevermind, its 6:37AM, time to sleep :v:
unpro.- I think I am going to install Backtrack on my flash drive, take my moms laptop to school and see if I can crack the wifi passwords. WEP is known for me, but the ones with WPA are completely blank ground for everybody right now.
You can't crack WPA unless WPS is supported by the router. Even if it supports WPS, it'll take about 10-40 hours to crack it.
This is cool as fuck whether you're running WP or not: http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/03/nokia-city-lens-exits-beta/

Backtrack's tools run off wordlists, so you'll need a file with every possible combination of characters in it. Crunch is a well-known wordlist generator.
WPS doesn't use words, but numbers. It's usually printed on the back of the device and is used for easy setup of a router (WPS stands for Wireless Protected Setup). 10 000 000 possible combinations, but at a second glance (due to a design flaw), it's actually 11 000 guesses at most. At 4-5 seconds / PIN, you can crack it in 4-10 hours.
It's actually not difficult at all to crack WPA, provided that you can capture the authentication handshake. Aircrack-ng provides the tools for both this and tricking clients into believing they've been deauthenticated and to reauth.
Standard GPGPU cracking can do millions a second, that should be a pisstake.
Only if you can somehow get a copy of the encrypted key. If you have to actually try to connect to the router with each key...
You have to do the latter. It takes about 5 seconds to try each key, that's router limitation. Only a very few routers are bad enough to have no delay between tries.
Only if you can somehow get a copy of the encrypted key. If you have to actually try to connect to the router with each key...
Then again, that's not usually a problem, just drop a client with deauth and you've got it. But I thought the algorithm was really bad when it comes to cracking it on a GPU?
Hmm, doesn't sound like a good idea anymore. I have the networks WEP key though. And it is the same for every router / extender they have. Even when it is in an another building. Also now most of the teachers laptops are running Win 7 now, librarians one is on Vista and there are a few XP machines in the library and some older laptops.
