These guys are really desperate for my password
My zenbook appears to have some fan control problems. I'm not the only one with this problem though, and it seems to be a BIOS bug. What happens is that it sometimes turns the left fan up to maybe 90% the moment the CPU hits 50c, and then turns it off again at 45 or so. Sometimes the fan is on in less than a second, and it's also pretty noisy when it's on. Gets pretty annoying, but so far it has only happened in school, and the first time it happened, a reboot fixed it. hmm

Well I just had a serious brainfart.
I'm torrenting the latest version of Arch to put in a VM, and because of this uTorrent is destroying my connection. So I look over at the uTorrent window on my second monitor and see it downloading at 9KB/s and think "Oh that must be because I'm torrenting shit.

This was after the quite frankly diabolical registration system.
Literally, login, runs a program that kills explorer and starts up a fullscreen program...that promptly crashes.
They also block use of task manager until the form is filled.

Why not just reinstall fresh, chances are there is more bloat than what you see there

Maybe. All I know is that I prefer MS Office over Google Drive and LibreOffice any day.
I've tried multiple times to migrate fully over to one or the other and can never come close.
