Maybe. All I know is that I prefer MS Office over Google Drive and LibreOffice any day. I've tried multiple times to migrate fully over to one or the other and can never come close.
Google docs is excellent for use on the go but otherwise yeah, I love MS Office. Although, it is absolutely retarded sometimes.
What's wrong with the internal? Do you plan on getting something else to fill in the gap?
I want to remove the need to bend over to put in a disk, also I keep my front panel on my Cosmos 2 shut usually so I don't want to open it as much. Along with that, I want to remove the cables and wiring involved with the drive. Clean it out. I like the idea of having more external devices, though I'd like them more in a rack type style. Like all ontop of my headphone dac, but I don't know how easily I'd do that.
Google docs does funny stuff to my word documents because it doesn't fully support everything so I rarely use it. I'd rather use my phone than google docs when I really need to edit/look at stuff on the go.

And even if I did pay for MSOffice, I would hardly use it. Just seems stupid paying that amount of money. I know people (like my dad) that swears by MSOffice but I am trying to get him to convert to GDrive. But at the end of the day, To each their own!
I understand most of the stuff there, but what's wrong with Office?
It's the starter version. I don't want to pay £100 for a full version either.
It's the starter version. I don't want to pay £100 for a full version either.
Oh I had that shit on my laptop, too. It's awful.
Now Windows Update is downloading at the grand speed of 1 bit a second. [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] On the plus side I have the bloatware gone and themes / wallpapers set up.

It's just so much easier to do those things in office 2007+ and those are things I need daily for college assignments.

It worked out well for Office. It works excellently for specific applications.
I installed the 2013 beta anyway, seems fairly good even with metro.
Got my laptop through. Toshiba sure likes bloatware. Had to remove: Macafee Norton Kaspersky (Yes, all three were trying to run at once) Entire suite of Nero products Office 2012 Windows Live shizzle Some Games thingy that I couldn't run anyway.
Shit like these are why lots of computer novices are turned away from buying PCs. I have heard of plenty of stories in real life where people returned their brand new PC for a Mac because it was "too slow" right after they turned it on for the first time.
Macs dont have bloat though.
yet
Macs dont have bloat though.
Windows isn't bloated either if you know how to manage it
Windows isn't bloated either if you know how to manage it
Well, once you get rid of all the shit that the manufacturer puts on it, yes.
Got my first ever Dual-Core cpu with an Asus motherboard! Shit is so fast that I'm so happy now!
Got my first ever Dual-Core cpu with an Asus motherboard! Shit is so fast that I'm so happy now!
What CPU is it and what did you have before? Dual-Cores are so 2007 now. also Welcome to the Multi-Core times, it has been a long wait for you.
This week I started an IT course at college. I wasn't interested in any other AS Levels so I just went for the generalised triple award IT BTEC. I thought it would be good. I was wrong. We're designing websites, which sounded good because I felt like I'd just breeze through that unit. Nope, we're designing them ON PAPER. Programming, sounded good because the course guidelines said that we'd be learning C# for the entire year. Nope, Visual Basic. And then the worst part is that we're being taught by 3 women that have no idea what they're doing and are basically just reading out our work from a sheet each lesson with no solid knowledge of their own. I'll give it until the end of the month before I decide whether I'm going to drop out and spend the rest of my life under qualified.
everyone just has to hate opera.
I have a E5200 now, and had a Celeron D 330J.
Hi, I have an E5200 too. just that my motherboard is incompatible and it is running at half the speed. :v: [editline]5th September 2012[/editline]
why must they force me to take this quiz. why
bbut, what the crap.

What the fuck, is that test a joke or something? What the hell is a power bar, and why to they refer to the computer as a "system unit"?
Its a test for an online high school.
The tests are literally that bad.
ok what im guessing that's correct.
Theoretically, answer B is more correct than D, even though that's not probably what they mean :v:
