FUCK YOU. [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] 20 was fucking A? that. what.
I can see why 20 was A, even though "computer" would normally be called a server it's technically correct.
Very poorly worded tests. Complain to your teacher or somebody who can change them. Whatever works.
out of interest, where can I take this test? [editline]5th September 2012[/editline]
Very poorly worded tests. Complain to your teacher or somebody who can change them. Whatever works.
They're meant to be trick questions, I assume.
out of interest, where can I take this test? [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] They're meant to be trick questions, I assume.
the hell is a trick question test going to teach you incorrect terminology?
I'm very pleased with my College's internet, everything I've tried works. However, since I have to login with my unique username and password before using it, I'll probably avoid torrents / usenet. Steam and dropbox works, though I think I'll also avoid updating large games.
Windows isn't bloated either if you know how to manage it
You shouldn't have to deal with it right of the box though, knowledge or not.
I can upload the PDF it gave me.
the hell is a trick question test going to teach you incorrect terminology?
Point is, all of those are actually using correct terminology - just not commonly used terms.
At first I hated ribbon. But honestly, it was a change for the better. It worked out well for Office. It works excellently for specific applications.
Another reason I'm still on MS Office is because of training. I've had MS Office 2007+ training drilled into my head my entire HS/College life, and it's the industry standard. I just don't feel like re-learning everything on LibreOffice. It's like going from Photoshop to GIMP. They do similar things yet they operate very differently from one another.
You guys know how I bitch about my CPU running at 100C and shit? I found out why today when I put a "new" Scythe Infinity on it. Whichever spanner put my previous cooler on didn't take the bit of plastic off the bottom that says "remove before application" (I didn't put it on). Now I get 50C under P95 load.
I have a E5200 now, and had a Celeron D 330J.
Holy shit I can play 1080p videos now on Youtube without stuttering with the same video card!

Prefer it to photoshop in every way (apart from colour mixing) imo
Here's the study unit course work thing for that quiz i had to take. http://www.slideshare.net/TonyTheBean/compooters
kill me now
Here's the study unit course work thing for that quiz i had to take. http://www.slideshare.net/TonyTheBean/compooters
Suck it up, every single one of us has had to deal with something like this in one way or the other.
check out page 20...
Macs dont have bloat though.
That's what I just said
That's what I just said
Shit, sorry. Missed a word.
How do they think you are viewing the slideshow without this "knowledge" [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] I'm tempted to print off that quiz and go back to high school just to show it to my old computing teacher.
Holy shit, the word Graphical User Interface Enviroment sounds soo fucking weird.
That's a fairly basic hardware and software introduction. What's the problem?
That's a fairly basic hardware and software introduction. What's the problem?
Some people think they're too 1337 and don't deserve to pass a piss easy quiz
If you look through the entire thing (like really really look), there's a bunch of stuff that's incorrect. For an example They're implying that an optical mouse is a shiny mouse with a light strip down the middle. [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] Now I am going to take the tests anyways because its either this or I go to one of the worst high schools in the state.

The other test refers to the computer as the harddrive and the monitor as the computer
The other test refers to the computer as the harddrive and the monitor as the computer
Now that is bad.
I was kidding, I don't know anything about any tests. But I wouldn't be surprised :v:
