Did the final step in my GTX 670 RMA with EVGA. No free step up after all but then yesterday I got a call saying they may have accidentally shipped a GTX 680, welp.
All of your bad luck is cancelled out by good luck
Let's hope they meant "accidentally."
Well this is first time I've heard of a wrong product being shipped during a RMA. I don't even know how something like that happens when all the stuff says GTX 670 on it.
Then again, he said that they may have shipped the wrong card so it's completely possible they sent the right card but then someone somewhere put down the wrong thing. it's like how when I got some stuff from Cooler Master someone at UPS copied my address wrong and sent it to the house next door.
I'm just wondering if I'll have to pay the difference ($100ish) for the goof up they made, I would hope not since I don't have the money for that at the moment :v:
It's their goof-up.
-snipdumb-
makol you are now luckymakol
Well shit, a USB boot disk with two visible partitions on it is enough to crash my Acer craptops BIOS.
If I have a non-bootable USB drive plugged into my desktop (Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3) while it boots, it will not boot regardless of if the USB is the primary boot device or not

This. You'd be perfectly within your rights to demand that they pay return shipping too if they ask you to return it.
Makes sense.
I rather just avoid doing that and hope it's just a 670 and someone goofed up the paperwork :v:
When you receive it and they ask, pretend it's a 670 :v:

As for the PS3s
I've got 2 60GB fatties here.
Shame they are both dead.
Also, why are people so obsessed with three-way SLI GTX 660 Ti's?
I noticed this trend on YouTube and OCN.

Genius.
makol you're going to get a 680 and you're going to be arrested and raped by the CEO of EVGA himself
makol you're going to get a 680 and you're going to be arrested and raped by the CEO of EVGA himself
oh god
You're gonna be raped by the 680 they sent you.

My butt is not a PCI-E slot.
My butt is not a PCI-E slot.
no but it's malleable
That's what makes it kinky.
And who says it's going in PCI slot first anyway
I thought you would since then you could use the PCI bracket to stop it getting lost.

I think friction will do that job for you
What the fuck did I just wake up to?
50 Shades of GTX 680
Going back to bed. ;-;
It might be 50 Shades of GTX 670, we'll have to find out.
My fans started spinning faster and faster, as the application sent it's processes directly in to my cores

The feeling of its processes deep within my cores sent me into one of the wildest overclocks I've ever had

I went ahead and disabled VSync beforehand, allowing for the most intense overclocking I will ever have

An intense amount of frames rushed to my screen. It was a colorful display - my fans couldn't do anything to cool me off the whole time

Guys.
[sp]Keep going[/sp]
He plugs in the power, and with a flick of a switch, I'm turned on. I purr with power and bluescreen because I'm an HP.

Since when do you switch on a computer?
HP makes desktops too
Maybe I should modify that to dell because their desktops are assholes
what have we started?!
