I know, I was just pointing out his nonsense wording (actually a typical asperger's symptom, no hate protocol) and showing how silly those who were defending it sounded. Apparently nobody got it.
we get it we just dont care

CIPWTTKT 21: We get angry at lighthearted jokes
My favorite part was when flicking power switches wasn't funny until lavacano said he did it once.
I shudder to think what would be a replacement for jizz for this FSOGTX680 thing.

Thermal grease.
It's all over your face, dripping slowly onto your chest... etc etc.

not quite as funny in hindsight but still
Well that was fun.
Was helping a client with a simple, simple, simple Minecraft problem for work and it turned from a simple "Help me with this console command" to "OH GOD, KILL THE PROCESS, IT'S MAXING THE NODE".
Basically, while Minecraft was saving the world something fucked up, the Java process went rogue, zombified and started maxing out it's memory heap and CPU usage was sporadic as fuck. At one point it used 100% on all threads of the fucking node. Now this is a Dual E5-2670 box.
Ended up having to kill-9 the it.
I'm backing up my Steam games to a separate drive And my WD green is writing st 114MB/s average it seems. Seems 64mb cache and perfectly sustained writing is goold on it.
Backing up 182GB of games.
snip
I can't wait to move from my Z68 board to another one. Maybe from Asus. I hate rebooting because it rarely works without issue.
Though I really want to move to a 6 core Ivy when they come out.

And two XLR to Jack converters, pretty good quality

The amp seems to be working, but I haven't tried much other than headphones yet, and it's in pretty bad condition. I'll keep it because it might come in handy if I need an amp that I don't care if breaks.
Maybe the cables will work for using an XLR microhpone with my DSLR? hmm
I'll gladly take one of those XLR to Jack converters off you.
I'll gladly take one of those XLR to Jack converters off you.
I first read that as: "Ill gladly take one of those XLR converters to jack off you"
I'll gladly take one of those XLR to Jack converters off you.
I guess I do only need one, I mean, I don't even know if an XLR microphone would work on my DSLR without some sort of pre-amp...

This layout makes me very sad, and it REALLY pisses me off that you have to choose "Only show uploads from x" on EVERY subscription. Why, why and WHY!

However, right now you can get back to the old layout by deleting your youtube cookies and logging in again.
I don't know why the current "thing" to do with UIs is to unify everything into a single coloured clusterfuck of buttons and text

*beat*
what
I remember when I was a kid, whenever a game wouldn't work, I'd just reinstall it
I didn't quite realize that deleting the icon wasn't uninstalling it
Our tiny hard drive filled up rather fast thanks to me installing the same games about 10 times
How does installing the same game fill the drive? It would just overwrite most files.
When I was a kid, I installed a game on our computer.
After fiddling with settings I tried to start playing, but it crashed.
I couldn't get it working so I just uninstalled it, frustrated.
Afterwards on the following night, I got a weird nightmare from it.
It was terrifying .

.
When I was a kid I had tomb raider chronicles which had a second disk, can't remember what was on it, it was either a map editor, or her house. Anyways, my dad told me not to install it, but I did it anyways, and somehow fucked something up so badly my dad had to fix some things in DOS because it wouldn't start up. To this day I do not know what I did wrong, how I managed to break DOS, or what the fuck was going on that he had to manually do some things of which I still have no idea what he did.

"And when I went to take the CD out of the computer, a skeleton popped out of the CD drive"
I sometimes get nightmares about my expensive stuff breaking or getting stolen :saddowns:
