I think a linux Zenbook would be a good idea right about now. Linux is getting more and more support from developers every day and it makes the experience with it that much more enjoyable

The benefits are quickly outweighing the support downsides (which there aren't many of any more outside of gaming)

Hmmm... I'm pretty close to upgrading to a Bitfenix Prodigy, Intel Core i5 3450, ASUS P8H77-I mITX and 8GB of Kingston HyperX RAM, then moving my PSU, HDD (1TB Spinpoint), SSD (Samsung 830 128GB) and GPU (MSI GTX 560) over. On NCIX, with Shipping and HST it's going to cost about $515.

I threw up some random computer stuff on Kijiji to see if I get any offers (RAM, old GPUs, 15" LCD monitors, my old motherboard, Acer Aspire One in bad shape...

You'd can do pretty well if you're persistent and keep relisting. I sold off some LGA 775 board, an E7500, and 4GB of DDR2 RAM for $150. Sold off a few other things and got $300 to buy a 32GB iPad 2. Sold that for $450 blah blah eventually had gotten rid of my old stuff that was collecting dust and got a 64GB iPad 3 for $600.
