I liked the size of the 4s a lot Why did they make it taller and less wide :(
Quad core A9. Fuck life. [editline]13th September 2012[/editline] Or something inhouse. Either way, not A15.
Couldn't it be a dual-core A15? Or something like the S4? Would double the performance of the A5 without bringing out new tech. [editline]12th September 2012[/editline]
I liked the size of the 4s a lot Why did they make it taller and less wide :(
Because 3:2 is a shitty aspect ratio and someone had the sense to change it.

I'm kinda hoping it will be something inhouse, that's always cool. [editline]13th September 2012[/editline]
and 16:9, goodbye annoying black bars eeeee its LTE time
No WiMax. Not buying now.

[editline]13th September 2012[/editline] No WiMax. Not buying now.
Well, I was not talking specifically about Krait, but rather a design like it - not quite there, but not shabby at any rate. "Very, very frightening me" [editline]12th September 2012[/editline] Oh god the converter.
The new dock connector is all digital. That's going to make docks more expensive. At least they have a large, ulgy, adapter.
And MHL would have done exactly the same thing. But that would mean a lack of exclusive iDevice docks...
As far as I know, MHL won't allow you to control the phone. I wouldn't be comfortable using MicroUSB as a dock connector, it doesn't feel sturdy enough.
Not gonna lie, I'm currently considering the iPhone 5. This is bad.
As far as I know, MHL won't allow you to control the phone. I wouldn't be comfortable using MicroUSB as a dock connector, it doesn't feel sturdy enough.
Yes you can, and why not? If you care that much get one with a bit of padding around the dock connector so it doesn't fully lean on the microUSB.
Not gonna lie, I'm currently considering the iPhone 5. This is bad.
Yup it's bad.
My Nexus S leans on its Micro-USB dock. Its pretty sturdy. If the connector is actually secured well inside the phone and not laxidasicaly held onto the motherboard with a teeny bit of solder it will hold very well. Also, tight USB ports are superior, there is nothing worse than a sloppy port.
Isn't it lackadaisically? You're the first person I've ever seen using that word beyond the writer of a novel I read some 2 years ago.
Isn't it lackadaisically? You're the first person I've ever seen using that word beyond the writer of a novel I read some 2 years ago.
You are correct.
So basically: Apple takes all my unspoken suggestions for iOS and uses them They make it the perfect size. I already have a shitload of paid for apps on the App store from before. Aaaand it's affordable. Shit. help. help. help.
I suppose this would impose comic relief in here, while we persuade wingless to not buy an iPhone 5:
New version of iTunes, completely redesigned. Heres my prediction: It's actually going to be good and will force me to buy an iPhone.
From the Engadget liveblog.
I don't want to. But I want it. This is terrible.
Oh wow. They really fixed up iTunes.
My Prediction was correct. I hate myself.
Spotify does annoy me, sometimes. Lack of FLAC support is extremely annoying. It's weird though, They always have the little known artists, the stuff that's hard to get otherwise, and then they have the larger artists, but the medium known artists, they never seem to have, or don't have all of their stuff. It's annoying since a lot of my library is just that and I can't fill in the blanks since I have it all in FLAC...
Bit late reply but i'v been out and tossing HDDs across grassy fields all day FLAC isn't as big an issue for me, it's neat (i got a few game soundtracks in FLAC from Humble Indie Bundles) but what annoys me is the larger bands that are not on Spotify due to record companies saying no. ACDC is the example that comes to mind. It's pretty annoying, especially if you got a song in your head (thuunderstruuuuuuck nananan) I do love the sounddrop app they added recently, great way to find good music. Anyway, my battery indicator is telling me that i got about a minute of battery time left and i just saw my buss arrive so i better be off
Content! I ended up fixing a friends friend laptop that had a few viruses and needed a general clean up, and the desktop on this laptop was just disgusting and disgraceful that I had to phone the police today. It had ceeee peeeee on it and I'm strongly against this shit.
A+ friend would trust with all secrets 10/10

So I'm attending the third and last year of highschool here in sweden. I'm in the electronics/IT line of education and in the third year basically all we do is [del]sit around and play counter strike all day[/del] fiddle with computers all day. Two years back my municipalty engaged in a plan to give every students from year 7 to the end of high school a computer. After a shit ton of lobbying by profit seeking companies to politicians who barely understand what an internet is, it was decided to give all the students macbooks. While I have several gripes about this, not the least of which is that if they'd gone with PC's and not hired a third party the entire endeavor could have been accomplished millions of kronor cheaper, this isn't a post to rant about macs. Though I would like to vent my frustration at the fact that at no point during the planning of this did anybody make an effort to educate the teachers on how to use this resource in the classroom, which means that the macbooks primary uses are gaming and facebook, making the entire thing just a gigantic waste of money. But I digress, the situation is such that me being in the IT line and basically being the most computer literate person in the entire school (believe me I've looked, I don't even consider myself particularly computer wizzy but I'm a goddamn tech guru compared even to my teacher (who by the way has problems installing windows)) and I have practically unlimited and unsupervised control of the schools entire wireless network. In a school containing roughly 200 macbooks being used by computer illiterate students. My question is simple, how best do I abuse this power I've been given by a combination of sheer incompetence and negligence?

[editline]12th September 2012[/editline] I can't live without widgets and notifications, iOS has nothing to offer for me.
cain and able to start, start sniffing, get passwords and info, when that's done, install netcut on a windows PC and SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING.
keylogger and RAT on all of them, build your own botnet, steal hashes from where you can't get the plaintext password, use the collective processing power of the botnet to crack said hashes. When you're done, you'll have unlimited power over every computer in your school, all students' and teachers' accounts, and you can make 200+desktop machines do your bidding over a (possibly) very fast school connection.
My question is simple, how best do I abuse this power I've been given by a combination of sheer incompetence and negligence?
In a hilarious way, preferably. Anything weird about the network itself?
My iPod touch is now no longer the new kid on the block. I am now sad
