Wouldn't call that fixing it but it's better than before.
Well it looks more like the iOS style like that so it's more unified, hence fixed?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/NXPfR.png[/t] There we go, 10/10 would buy.
Add the bloody camera back again. Try again. To be honest it looks terrible without the home button. It would loses its "i-look"
Apple just can not figure out which screen size for the Nano works best.
the main problem with it is that it doesn't look very "nano" you can't wear it like a watch like the other one, it's like the cheaper and way shittier version of the itouch
It makes the device look top heavy with the home button, its really wierd. [editline]13th September 2012[/editline] Perhaps they should shove some android 4.0 software nav buttons in? :V
I never said this was a good idea for a nano back when it was released, I argued that it should have been a revolutionary shuffle instead.
It doesn't even look like the level of hardware quality that Apple is so well known for. Binary is right, it just looks like shit
Its not as if its cheap either, its bloody expensive for what it is. You could have a cheap Android phone and a large SD card for the same price.
it's not like android PMPs are nonexistent either. and they're fully featured the SGPlayer 4.0 for example is like $200 max and IIRC supports SD
Wow, the new iPod touch is looking incredibly nice. It's basically a slightly slower iPhone 5 with no data connectivity / calling £169 for one of these + my cheapy android phone = perfect combination

yeah I just read that, fuck.
Anyone know if there are any links to photo's taken with the iTouch 5's camera?
that's still not bad though to be fair
I want to upgrade my ipod to take good pictures but I also would like an ipad cause the screen is delicious. 1st world problems.
Can you not flash the default rom?
you still have super user installed but you can't uninstall it
you still have super user installed but you can't uninstall it
Yes you can. There are plenty of rooting tools that offers full automated unrooting. You can even do it yourself using root explorer.
you still have super user installed but you can't uninstall it
What gives you that idea?
Wasn't there an EU regulation dictating the use of Micro USB for smartphones? Also, why the fuck would anyone thing an oil submerged PC is a good idea if it's just oil sitting in a fishtank.
Well, it means that rather than use fans and shit you can just slap a large TEC on the back of it.
Oh wow, 2 hours of AoE III free for all with me and two of my friends, I managed to win. They forced me to choose my worst city and I managed to win with it. Nice. It started with me making an army and they being on a field fight all the time. One of them really loved artillery and managed to take half of my stuff out. I went and took down his front gates, making him quit, partly because he had a slight deal that they will both attack me and the other guy only sent a few guys from his army. I then went all out on the other guy, attacking him from the front and one side. He didn't see the people on the side though, and I was able to kill his expansion building pretty easily. I had a giant fight at his door and he saw nothing but cannons to the face. Destroyed him and then it was all good :v: Also my I restarted my PC with an uptime of 13 days. I hibernate, so I guess I first started it in somewhere mid-august.
you mentioned uptime so I'm obliged to post this still going
How did you survive the memory leaks and all that shit?
it's actually my work computer, but it's also been running a VM for those 154 days as well as dedicated SQL server instances, plus whatever other stupid shit I do on it that isn't work
it's actually my work computer, but it's also been running a VM for those 154 days as well as dedicated SQL server instances, plus whatever other stupid shit I do on it that isn't work
Oh, remind me to check uptime on my fathers work computer then. Task Manager didn't show it and we were in a hurry, so I wasn't able to boot up cmd and do systeminfo that time.
Tratzzz, check uptime on your father's work computer.
it's not like android PMPs are nonexistent either. and they're fully featured the SGPlayer 4.0 for example is like $200 max and IIRC supports SD
It's not as capable as a casual gaming device which is the market Apple is really trying to capture. Android is good but games still typically launch or update on iOS prior to Android, good examples are Gameloft Games or smaller games like Temple Run which launched 6 months later on Android. That's on top of the fact that no $300 Android PMP or phone I can find actually has better specs/performance than the new iPod Touch. It's 1136x640 with 99% sRGB coverage, two Cortex-A9 cores at ~800MHz with an SGX543MP2, and what is pretty much guaranteed to be 512MB of RAM. I can definitely find ones that beat it on paper when you ignore the professional grade color on the iPod, but when you think about how far processing power and RAM go on iOS and WP7 vs Android it's not quite what it looks like on paper. I.E. those both run consistently at 60fps with minimal response time and any other Android doesn't. Though I mean for power users the Android path is definitely better but those people wouldn't even be considering an iPod Touch to begin with.

With my iPhone I can rest assured that apps and accessories are tailored for my device. Admittedly, shitty iOS apps exist, but there are a lot more problems with apps on Android than there are on iOS. Thankfully Google gave enough of a shit to combat this problem though.
When my iPod touch 4g dies i've no idea what i actually want to get. Part of me wants to get an iPad Another wants an iPhone and another wants to try android Choices...
The iWhatevers at least theoretically have the same advantage as consoles: They're guaranteed to be the same thing for every single unit of that specific generation, which allows you to work out the arcane magycks required to get maximum performance. What everyone keeps mentioning about Android is that fragmentation is its main issue. Thank god for Holo, though, that should fix at least the interface fragmentation issue.

But power users like us prefer PC gaming. I saw the potential in Android but it was far too buggy until Jelly Bean for my liking.
