Somehow it still works without that one capacitor.
I would get that capacitor replaced ASAP

My ipod touch 4g was slow as fuck with siriport and winterboard.
I removed both of them and it's alot faster now. The only cydia bits i have on it now is iTransmission, infinifolders, nonewsisgoodnews, ifile and installious, as well as some emulators.

Uh, it's SMD cap, you can't really replace that without special equipment, which I don't have.

My old router's NVRAM is going bad. It won't retain any settings I change on it anymore, so I'm gonna have to put her down. It's lasted for several years too.
Now I'm curious, how long does everyone here's routers tend to last for?
My router that was provided by talktalk lasted around 3 years before it got so unstable that i got fed up of it and smashed it, then burned the remains.
Don't you have to pay for it since its loaned equipment?

The router they supplied us was this wank stain

Wireless was G and had a range of about a meter, any network tranfers COMPLETELY destroyed the internet speed somehow and the router would crash every other day.

SMD capacitors are easy to replace to be honest. All you need is a heatgun to heat it up to the point where the solder are molten and then removing it off the board with a tweezer. Soldeirng it back can be done with a simple soldering iron.
