I think the developers just wanted to win the "worst console port" award. Rockstar was close to winning, but GTA 4 can actually run properly if you have a fast enough computer. In SR2, you're pretty much fucked no matter what you have.

I think the way you were able to get SR2 properly running was a mod, where you had to change some settings. To check if they are right, you had to use another thing to make your car slower and if you completed a race in exactly 1 minute with it, your settings were right.
But this was kind of trial and error.
And all of this I know by reading some thread in FP.

This thread just simply wouldn't work on Facepunch with the &GC part, we don't have a big enough userbase that has to deal with stupid computer users daily.
Facepunch has quite a bit of members, but you have to remember that some people on this forum are the "hurr i want an e2 keypad cracker i should post about it in general discussion" type.
Maybe SomethingAwful could actually generate enough content to keep a thread like this running.
Or we could just talk about how much IA-64 sucks.

I hated SR3 personally, it tried way too hard to be "lol random so funny I'll hit you with a big dildo". SR2 was the perfect balance of good story and seriousness
Maybe it's because my K90 is using MX reds, but typing on this cheap Dell membrane at work is seemingly nicer to type on. I think also, the keys are larger.
Main thing I think is that the keys are slick so I can slide my fingers on and off fast.

I have a question, as much as I hate the K90 there's one thing I must know about it. The thing looks [B]REALLY[/b] easy to clean out, is it?
I haven't gotten it dirty yet, but basically it has no "basin" It's a solid aluminum plate and the keys stick up from there. So theoretically I could tilt the board 90 degrees and all crumbs fall out.

Eastlink has been great in my experience, though it's not exactly cheap ($63 for the 20/1 package).

I hear TekSavvy is good, though I don't have any experience with them. They do cable and DSL.
Vianet is decent and offers Fibre in some areas of my city, though they're a pretty small company. They resell a few services: Cable, DSL, wireless.
Bell FibreOP is also rolling out in my city soon, though again it's not very widespread.

Great. The guy in charge of Macs here at the center wants to update every system to Mountain Lion. On the 25th. When it comes out. WITH ABSOLUTELY NO COMPATIBILITY TESTING. This will be hundreds of systems.
The MSI representative I called last week called back. They are offering a 9800GTX as a replacement for my faulty card.

The woman on the phone told me that they don't stock GTX295s anymore and the 9800GTX is the "closest thing in performance that they can offer me".
