Magic of Javascript.
But you just ordered it, wtf?
I clicked the order button and 2 seconds later the mailman was at my door.

If only Gman was that lucky.
Also, does power4gear actually do anything other than spam you with power setting presets?
How
Mixture of a UserScript and added inline jQuery.
Thinking of coding an extension where you can re-order them yourself and it gets stored on a server.
Ah, my next case. I love almost everything about it.
I might suggest the Switch 810. The Fractal R4 just came out I think, check that out.

From what I can tell on my Asus laptop, it doesn't really do much useful.

don't tell the aliens, warship
Looks like my hunt for a netbook replacement is over, gonna go with the Lenovo x121e with AMD-E... My 2nd Thinkpad actually.
My SL510 is tucked away.

oops
okay guys I found a 460 2gb on craigslist for 145 obo. I need an upgrade from my 5770 to go with my new rig. Is this a good choice? I know that the extra gig really makes no difference unless I'm gaming at huge resolutions, but there are no 560 ti's or regular 460's in my area. when they come on they're about 160. I'm thinking this is a good choice.
I'm poor don't laugh because I buy GPUs second hand
It is a nice GPU and should run most stuff just fine.
I don't know if it's the most cost-efficient or whatever solution but it's not terrible.
Corners not pointy 0/10 would not buy.
There is a x230 though. But £800.
RIP desktop, fails to boot, 1 long 8 short beeps aka "Display test failure".
4GB of RAM sucks. Can't wait until I can build a new machine with 32.
Not like you'll ever use more than 8GB at the most extreme cases.
...right now
Is there anything as too much ram?
Our shipment finally arrived from kingston, total count was.
4x 4GB DDR3-1600 ECC Unbuffered.
32x 8GB DDR3-1600 ECC Unbuffered.
40x 8GB DDR3-1600 ECC Registered.
Damn, they are packed fricking nice!
EDIT: Just realized you guys are saying 1 stick is enough. TROLOLOL
Is there something alternative to Flash for Youtube?
HTML5 always crashes for me on Firefox and Flash crashes too. But atleast I can kill Flash-s process in Task Manager, with HTLM5 says just Script Crashed, Continue or Stop Script. Both do jackshit to me.
I'm on 13.01 right now, gonna update firefox.
[editline]24th July 2012[/editline]
Now 14.0.1, scared that it won't be any better.
This thing rocks

Nice, your laptop is much faster than my PC.
I had GTA IV on all low with 20-30 fps with spikes.
That was one of the selling points, it comes with a sticker that says "Faster than tratzzz's PC!"

Damn, that's awesome. I was looking at Zenbooks at the start of summer, though I realized that I could upgrade the fuck out of a refurbished Dell and still come out under $500. Which gives me plenty of money left to buy a tablet and keep the [del]sportscar[/del] Corolla filled up.

I use VMs. Also RAMDrive for my pagefile would be nice.
The trackpad on this is almost as good as the ones on the Macbooks.
Well, it's more about the drivers/software, really. They need a bit of polishing. When you scroll, it's nice and smooth, but flicking doesn't really work. It just turns 10fps or something and brakes :v:
Kinda hard to explain. But hey, you can use the cool way to switch through apps! And it actually works surprisingly well.
Uhh, wouldn't a RAMDrive for pagefile be useless, as pagefile is just a dump of your RAM to be quickly accessed or some shit like that?
So it would be storing your RAM inside your RAM. Genius.
Can't you just disable your pagefile if you have a crap-tonne of RAM?
I tried it once when I first got this laptop. A bunch of programs bitched at me for not having a page file (can't remember which ones though). This way I still have an assload of RAM and a pagefile to satisfy any programs that want one.

A pagefile is storage for data in RAM that hasn't been used recently, freeing RAM for newer processes. It's not designed for speed.
It all works out the same in the end. If I took that 32 GB and split it 24/8, with the 8GB as the RAMDrive with a pagefile, I really still technically have 32 GB of RAM but with no massive pagefile eating my hard drive, and my pagefile is as fast as RAM, because it is RAM.
