AVG doesnt detect anything because it can't find anything.
I had a keygen on some CD and MSE detected it as a virus and halted my copying process without saying anything. Was a bitch until I started copying the files to desktoo instead of another partion.
weird.

That's all I can give, right now.
I had a pentium 4 with a hole through the heatspreader as a keychain for a while.

Oh shit I better change antiviruses.
What the fuck, every time I launch Steam, it tries to update, then Avast reports it's infected when it reaches 99%.
Someone told me that the latest Avast update defined steam as a malicious object. He suggested trying a force update since Avast apparently released a patch to fix it
Worth a try in any case
Do you guys understand this joke?

It would appear that AMD cards have better options for colors: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/hqv-2-radeon-geforce,2844-10.html
And I guess the the retina stuff is a jab on the fact that (even though the MP4 is a pretty damn good GPU) you're generally just watching pretty bad graphics at a super high resolution.

A5X is pretty much the best ARM chip in a consumer device to date.

The CPU isn't.
The CPU isn't.
Oh, I was under the impression it was. I know the GPU is pretty damn amazing but I've tried looking for some decent benchmarks not run by Nvidia or Apple for CPU performance. I'm guessing for CPU it's between the Exynos 4212, A5X and Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset (newest).
The CPU isn't.
When the A6 comes around, Apple will be on top again. But the GPU in the A5X is fucking spectacular for a mobile chip. Tegra3 is a joke in comparison. Hell, Tegra 3 is a joke in general.
we should all go and share a flat in Kansas you guys
I really am looking to move.....

The Snapdragon S4 Pro is pretty much the best SOC on the market (sans the GPU, but it's almost as good as the MP4), I doubt the A6 will beat in any other areas than the GPU department. Tegra 3 was a let down - it really isn't as fast as they claimed, and the GPU is fairly laughable considering that it comes from Nvidia and was marketed as such. I'm pretty sure Apple will be reusing the MP4 in A6, maybe on a smaller process, but I don't think the GPU part will be hugely different.
If I install an old drive with Windows XP on it and most likely buttfuckloads of malware as a secondary drive, and boot from my primary drive, is there any chance whatsoever of the infections migrating? I'd imagine not as I'm not executing any code from it, but malware writers are always clever about this stuff.
Same deal with Freelancer, except well it's almost excusable. 800x600 1024x768, 1280x960 and 1600x1200. No 16:9 or 16:10 so you gotta download the JFLP patch and then grab a widescreen mod to support 16:9 resolutions, but in some cases, I have a HD texture pack on top of my freelancer install and most of the asteroids have been mapped incorrectly (even worse if you're on Intel GMAs) so you end up with the texture sheet being slapped onto the asteroid but it hasn't been shaped according to the asteroid so it ends up looking horrible and out of place.
every time someone brings this up i download and install it... here i go!
Amd should make gpus and maybe cpus for phones and such , I have a laptop that has an APU and a dedicated gpu , so the laptop has basically crossfire.

Just can't wait until we start seeing A15 chips.

... That's not how it works.

No shit, but you still get more fps etc.
No shit, but you still get more fps etc.
You don't gain any performance, the dedicated GPU is still doing all the work.
The only thing you gain is battery life, since when the dedicated GPU isn't needed, it turns itself off and the APU starts handling everything again.
If I can't sell my rig as a whole anyone want this for £100 +p&p?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/6I1ny.jpg[/t]
I will probably be selling most of the parts out of this rig for 50% retail price if as I said cannot sell the whole thing.

No... Nope... Just no... Does not work like that.

actually there is Asymmetric Crossfire

though I have no idea if it applies to laptops
Some people's webcams are on always and they're paranoid someone's watching
My webcam usually doesn't turn on even if I want it to
What's a good site to learn HTML and CSS from? I hear w3schools isn't that great for some reason.
w3schools has incorrect information and it teaches some deprecated practises, at least. The main issue with it is that you'd think it's affiliated with w3c but it actually isn't.
What's a good site to learn HTML and CSS from? I hear w3schools isn't that great for some reason.
Use w3schools anyway. All of it's errors are in the Javascript section anyway, and all of the HTML + CSS tutorials are pretty much the same on different websites. I learned all my web stuff from there, and I turned out fine.

Take a look at the One S and some of the SGSIII models. They're A15 chips, just dual core.

You CF the desktop APus with a dedicated card; I don't know whether it applies to laptop GPUs, but it would make some kind of sense. I won't rule it out, but I haven't seen any laptops doing it.
"I'm going to try and water cool my Power supply"
"Hey, can you hack Hyperthreading onto an i5? My friend said you could."
This guy...

That feature has never been used on anything mobile, I just had a look.

That's Qualcomm's sort of A15, they're sort of based on A15 but not fully. They don't stick to ARMs designs that much. It's more of a hybrid of A9/A15.
