Generic Microsoft keyboard represent
Got it for free when i bought my computer and it's actually pretty decent. Nice to type on and pretty silent. Lack of media keys can be annoying, but i got the media functions mapped to my mouse and headset anyway. Good cheap option if you don't need anything fancy

Speaking of cheap keyboards I bought a Logitech K120 and I fucking love it

Jesus what the fuck speed does it think you're going
even at my usual 3 MB/sec it would take me about 20-25 minutes to download that much
With my next paycheck I think I'll go and get those Asus monitors.
Unless someone can post links to some monitors with similar pixel density of my ZR30w. All I know is that the pixel pitch is .25, I assume that's a similar metric to pixel density.
didnt you just get monitors a few months ago
Not for myself. Maybe I mentioned it for work. I have a single 30" But due to the nature of video, I want to preview work at full res and would like some side 1080p screens for that. Also without a Utility LCD on my keyboard, I can't check for information. Some side monitors would be nice to check for various system info when I'm working or to run video on the side as I work.
But finding 1600x1200 or 1600x900 panels in IPS, also around the same pixel density and also not for like 800 dollars is hard. LG and NEC are some of the only people making them and they cost so damn much.
So I think I'll just go for some similarly dense 1080p panels from Asus for about 180-190 each and just set them up landscape on the sides. I won't have a single sized rectangle for my desktop but still better than having to manage so many windows while I work. When I'm in the middle of a project I tend to have the game open, two or more copies of Sony Vegas, Photoshop, After effects, multiple browsers, media players, and loads of explorer windows just trying to manage all the files I need to use.
I need monitors that match the pixel density first of all. Ideally I'd like 1600x1200 or 1600x1200 in portait on the sides for a lovely PLP setup, but after that my best bet is to go with 1080p panels in landscape on the sides. I want the same pixel density so I'm not worried about a window going in between and being scale differently.
I think the pixel density of my current monitor means that a 1080p image would be fitting on a 21.5 or 22" screen. Besides Pixel Pitch, I'm not sure of what other information I'd use to come up with a number to use. I can't really use resolution divided by area of the screen when the bezel is normally included in the calculations of the size of a screen online.
oh jeez mpg123 is set up badly too
I would expect to be able to just do "mpg123 File.mp3" and be done with it. Nope, instead I get this:
mpg123 -w ~/wav.wav File.mp3 & aplay ~/wav.wav
i can't wait to have this Gentoo install done

About 4m30s for 4GB? Sounds like my 120Mbit connection.
are you going to try 3 monitor gaming with that setup at all or just say fuck it and keep with your monstrous 2560x1600?
are you going to try 3 monitor gaming with that setup at all or just say fuck it and keep with your monstrous 2560x1600?
maybe in a window. But you can't do Eyefinity/Surround on three different sized monitors. They have to all be the same resolution.
And I don't/can't-want/afford triple 30's or let alone want the heat. The single monitor pulls about 110watts or something and that's going into my room.
Your talking about so many fucking monitors makes me sad in front of this

Since I felt sad about this tiny monitor.
AKA, an hour ago
Just to make Dusty feel worse about his monitor:

I used a 1024x768 CRT until this year, and I was content with it
Brt, are you wearing a homemade bleached shirt on your latest video?

You still have one of the best mice ever made.
You still have one of the best mice ever made.
Wh-what?
Every pc in my school has this mouse and it is awful
The only small problem with it is the occasional sensitive left pad.
I click once, it clicks twice like a really horrible turbo button.
MOTHER OF GOD.
Fluxbox allows you to combine ENTIRE WINDOWS into one tabbed window.
I might permanently switch.

It's a Woot Shirt, as are like 90% of my shirts.
Anyone here ever used Kensington locks? I just got one in a clearance sale, but I fear it might be a defective piece. The whole lock assembly (the T-bar, the metal under it and the rubber band) rotates when I try to lock it. It also doesn't fit fully in my T61.
Can anyone help me out with a little problem?

Also is there any custom firmware for that router?
Turns out this "Kensington lock" is not a Kensington lock after all. It's a PC667A legacy HP laptop lock. Doesn't help it has the very same branding as a normal Kensington lock. $30 down the drain.

The magic of glossy monitor stands + glass tables

Well fuck, the ultrabay battery for my thinkpad is the wrong one, £20 down the bloody drain
A friend of mine has teamspeak on his HTC Desire and when he was in the woods he lost it. So now the phone is always on teamspeak .
Can't you people return the stuff you're buying?

This is why you install tracking applications on your smartphone, kids.

Especially if you are in the UK and bought online or by phone, the power is very much given to the consumer. Read the distance selling regulations :)
