Thanks, you just reminded me I didn't have the phone line connected to the surge board
Pepper;37065979']Well fuck, my ZM-VE 200 SE's logic board just died, not only that, i've got about 10 days to sort ~20 clients PCs out.
:suicide:
Zalman support isn't too bad. I was disappointed that they didn't send me a VE300 though.
Just checked my fragmentation on my notebook.
56% FUCK
Time to defrag
What I really love about real filesystems is that even without ever defragmenting the amount of non-contiguous files on my /home partition is a few percents at most.
Installed Windows 8 on laptop.
I don't like it.
The only way I've found to shut down Metro apps is Alt-F4. Escape and backspace do nothing.
And it just feels awkward switching between real applications and Metro applications.

Microsoft thought it would be smart to have Windows 8 as a desktop OS, but what's missing is that the keyboards don't have a fucking back button like my phone does.
I can sort of understand Microsoft with not wanting applications to be closed, exactly like on Android.
The thing being, when I navigate between programs on Android, I can understand it showing a lot of stuff, because I can just press what I want, but on the desktop, I have to go through the programs with alt-tab, and if you have a lot of programs, it's slower than task-switching on a touch screen.
Metro apps are like Android apps, they stay open for as long as your system has the resources to support them.
Better than the iOS version of multitask
"Keep everything open until the the currently active app runs out of memory and crashes"
I like how my dad thinks my computer is full of nothing but viruses and that's why my windows computer would slow down
Anyways I am forced to look for his fucking nail clipper or "else"
And the worst thing is, his only defense for not buying a new one is,."i've had it for twenty years"

iOS doesn't have anything near true multitasking so this never happens
Also he was thinking to upgrading to 7, but a lot of the programs he uses aren't compatible with 7.
Compatibility mode?
Ask for it on the lowest value note available next time :v
A friend of mine payed me $5000 in $5 notes this one time
It wasn't fun at all bringing that to the bank

Funny thing is, later I switched to 7 so I can play Just Cause 2

Come at me Windows
Never got an answer in quick questions so here it goes.
Can I create a Wireless AP with my ASUS RT56U using my computer as the source?
My plan is to receive the internet via a wireless usb stick, bridge that and my LAN port and connect the LAN port to my router set-up in AP mode so I can just connect to that router on other devices.
I got my Nexus 7 today, Facepunch Is actually smooth on it. Impressive.

That's wierd.
I watched some people streaming MC and they said that they have more FPS even with livestream/recording in the background.

I read a tweet about some Mojang guy experimenting with loading chunks in a separate thread, maybe the code made it to the patch.
