I'm not surprised by this news. Kepler was never good at compute, we knew this since release. Infact, I can see a turn coming soon with people moving away from Teslas and Quadros in favour of FirePro.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the new kepler cards (the one for Tesla/Quadro) aren't even out yet. Quadro and Tesla are still working on Fermi GPUs.
136.9 read good on a spinpoint f3?

Speedtest, WEI, and now crystaldiskmarks
Speedtest, WEI, and now crystaldiskmarks
Does this make me a hipster?
Here we go again with the HDD and speedtest shit
Here we go again with the HDD and speedtest shit again
Whoops.
Well that's weird. I thought Facepunch was down for the past few days, because pages took forever to load (I'm talking minutes, not seconds), if they did at all (any actual thread was an immediate 502 Gateway error, most other pages didn't load stylesheets or images). Started sometime yesterday for me. Site was basically unusable. Oddly, I just tried the site in Opera on a hunch. Works fine. So somehow Firefox got fucked up, but only on this one specific site. Very odd.
Not completely computers but I downloaded a SNES rompack earlier and the demos and tools it has are awesome stuff Mode 7 demo from someone named "Paul" with a letter to "Harvey" talking about BBSes and books about coding in assembly for the Apple II. Worth the read even though the text is PAINFUL to do so. also there are a lot of 16 bit hentai slideshows a lot of them
Tried deleting the cache?
Yep - nothing. Might try cookies next.

If you go to about:config in Firefox and change "network.http.spdy.enabled" to false Facepunch will load (But remember to change it back when CloudFlare fix their stuff, SPDY is great.)
[editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Argh! my merge!
also there are a lot of 16 bit hentai slideshows a lot of them
What? No way.
Can I ask, where you got them? :v:
From my friendly neighborhood game retailer, of course I bought every singe SNES game, demo and test cartridge and ripped their data to my computer in a completely legal manner [sp]just add me on steam or something[/sp]
| v [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Argh! my merge!
Ah, that fixed it. Remind me to tell you about my recent work stories, when I'm not browsing FP at work.
Well first the router died by thunder, now GPU died after owning it for a few days.
My friend got a new case. It took us almost 3h to put the stuff to the new case and cable manage the stuff.
So one of my friends was absolutely amazed at how he could pick up more than two weapons in Doom. I'm missing Lion's Porno Party 2 terrible collection 0/10
So one of my friends was absolutely amazed at how he could pick up more than two weapons in Doom.
TBH, his amazement should be warranted. Try to pick up more than two rifles or whatnot yourself, plus carry all of them somehow.
Not really I'm going to blame it on CoD 'cause that's all he plays and I doubt he's ever seen a gun in real life
| v [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Argh! my merge!
i was wondering what was doing that seems to be fixed now because I never did such a thing and I have no problems.
My Corsiar Force Series 3 is supposed to give me 525 MB/s Read and 490 MB/s Write however even with the latest firmware i still get these speed on a sandybridge pc using intels sata 3 port. If this is how its supposed to be, then thats false advertised specs. [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] It seems all corsair ssd don't run at the speed they're supposed to run at.
Not really I'm going to blame it on CoD 'cause that's all he plays and I doubt he's ever seen a gun in real life
That's why I said "should be" and not "is"

Hmm, HD Tune is telling me that it's plugged into a SATA II port, yet I'm pretty sure that I plugged it into a SATA III one.
I may actually buy a crucial m4 or maybe a samsung 830.
Are you guys running the SSDs in AHCI? You need to run them in AHCI and have them connected to SATA3.
I may actually buy a crucial m4 or maybe a samsung 830.
Many people will probably recommend Crucial M4 because it has a good reputation but I prefer Samsung to Crucial. Speeds I'm getting (Samsung 830 Series 128GB):
Are you guys running the SSDs in AHCI? You need to run them in AHCI and have them connected to SATA3.
Running on sata 3 with Intels controller and in AHCI mode. so yeah thats the speed i get even thou i am supposed to get 525Mb per sec read and 490MB per sec write. So fuck corsair, i don't even like my Carbide 500r anymore tbh.
