Just looked at the shipping info for my flash drive again. How good is the estimated arrival date guesser? It's estimating that a 30 minute drive directly to my house from the warehouse (unrealistic, but gives you a sense of how close it is) will arrive on Thursday. Does it actually account for distance or does it just give you the lowest number for the shipping you ordered (5 to 8 days) and add on to it if there is a delay?

I remember when I got hard drives they used to be wrapped in bubblewrap. Arriving in boxes like that appears to be a relatively new thing.

Yeah - I tried it when I first got this laptop (1080p in 17" is kind of dense), but it doesn't work well in many programs. And it's just terrible when you have a regular-size 1080p screen plugged in as well.
