I would kill for forza or gran turismo on pc

Live For Speed seems like a good alternative (Never played Forza but it seems to be quite similar)

After seeing my 1 year old cousin I realized that little children speak in Binary (Amused/Not Amused)

Project CARS, maybe.

You can fund their kickstarter and get beta access.
And beta is pretty brilliant, some things need work but it's by far the best looking racing/sim game.

Yep, it is looking great. And this is a really old build too.
Project Cars works well with a controller, I even have a few 1st places on the Leaderboards using a 360 pad. It costs £20 to get a "team member" tool pack, gives you access to weekly builds of the game (they add all kinds of stuff constantly, SMS are currently mainly working on the weather system) and even in its current state it's an amazing sim.

it's not even alpha yet, silly

not technically kickstarter, it's Slightly Mad Studios' own crowd funding set up, there's currently also another game in the works using the same platform
I have no money :saddowns: have they said how long the funding will be open?
You know you need to sleep when you flash your Galaxy SIII with a Galaxy Tab 10.1 firmware........

At least you weren't one of the few hundreds of retards that flashed the SGS3 firmware tar when it was first released on the internet onto their SGS2 for whatever reason

Yeah, the files were right next to each other. Oh well, fixed it now.

A good while yet. The lowest tool pack is only 10 euro and it gets you access to monthly builds of the game, you're missing out by getting content slower than everybody else but it's still nice and you can pay the extra 15 euro to upgrade to team member in the future when you have money.
Same here for everything but the PS3 Dualshock 3 Sixaxis whatever controller
that thing is seriously a joy to use
Yeah the Dualshock 3 one especially since it's a bit heavier than the original Sixaxis controller. The battery lasts pretty long and I've never run into absolutely any issues with it.
Sony's controllers in general are fucking incredible.

I thought I broke a Dualshock once by knocking it off a refrigerator (why was it up there), opened it up, turns out all that happened was a scratch on the case and a loosened cable.
Never thought it was that durable.
Yeah, it just feels really good, not too heavy but not too light like my goddamned third party USB ones. What really amazed me is that they don't use a proprietary connector to charge it
That's actually fucking amazing coming from them
I prefer not to use controllers because of easy hand cramping (probably just my fucked up hands).
But if I have to, I would normally use a wired 360 Controller, durable and pretty comfortable. Not to mention they work better off of the bat with Windows

It's not like they're actually against standardised solutions, Sony just seems like a company that likes to make those standards. I believe the controllers use Bluetooth and USB because those standards are well established and because it would be utterly pointless not to use it.
They're dumb but not too dumb to live.

Agreed. I actually think the 360 controller is pretty much the best controller around. If I were designing a controller, it would just be "360 controller, but with regular bluetooth wireless (instead of MS's proprietary crap), and using the hybrid analog-digital triggers of the Gamecube, adding motion sensing (because while often misused, it can still be done right), and maybe swap the D-pad for a proper Nintendo-style D-pad".
I like that controller so much, I have two, and I have never owned an Xbox.

If MS released a version of the 360 Wired with the updated D-Pad It would instantly be my favorite controller.
At the moment, the D-Pad is as useful as a brick.
Agreed, 360 controller with USB cable is great. Got one when BF3 came out and still loving it. Sturdy bastard too. It's been in my bag when it's had like 10 kilo of dead weight on it without problems
Just burnt myself on the exhaust of my 690, fucker gets hot.
I bought a 10$ 360 controller from China. Works fine, but it's pretty noisy with the vibrators.
microsoft ones are dead silent
I bought a wireless 360 controller which came with a wireless controller for ~20€.
Works fine with every game.
I have one of those fancy wired Logitechs that can emulate a 360 controller, it works well enough
doitdoitdoit
Well this is great. My SGS Fucking nuked itself and now it won't boot. Just burnt the bridge between me and phones entirely. Why the fuck can't I get a phone that works?

Does it not boot into Odin either?
