HOLY SHIT! A computer not made by clevo or quanta?
My prediction: it will flop.
Yet another quality product by Razer :buddy:

They'd have to use all the keys just for one picture
Oh my gods. Give me one, now. Razer better fucking release this thing, or I'm gonna be very, very depressed. Seriously. Might even be a few tears shed over the vaporware.
Doesn't appeal to me at all. When I leave my house, gaming is my absolute last priority.
Why would I want to play a video game when I'm hanging out with the ladies?
If I want to game, I'll do it at home.
I hope this isn't a victim of the 90% vaporware @ CES rate :v:
Then again I don't really see this selling.
Its pretty interesting. Though I disliked "Intel atom powerful gaming technology".
how are you supposed to do text chat in game
voip.
I bet that it wasn't even them playing WoW realtime on the laptop thing.
I bet they just used After Effects and put a video of playing WoW on there; an Atom could NEVER handle it.

It was at CES on show, apparently you could have a go with it.
Other than that, what would be the point of it if it couldn't even handle WoW? So it should.
Well, if all "very low" settings count as playing WoW, then I assume it can count.

My lappy with a 2.66ghz i3-350M, 2gb of DDR3 and a HD5650 can run WoW with every setting low, except for Texture res (Good) and View Distance (Ultra) at barely 60 frames per second. I used to get 100+ anywhere before Cata, but now....
Doubt this could handle WoW with even 30 frames per second.
Why the absolute fuck didn't they use the new Fusion technology? This is an amazing concept with a shit as fuck execution. Quake and WC3 are the only things it's going to be able to play.
Goddamnit I want razer to release more information, Most importantly a price.
how the fuck is an atom going to do games?
ITT: Everyones rages about Intel Atom
At least it is decent, not better then AMD but playing games like UT 2004 or Stronghold Legends would be awesome
They're not going to release this if it can't play the basic of games like WoW, think about it, noone would buy it.
HOLY SHIT! A computer not made by clevo or quanta?
what?
so you're going to pay $1600 (the lowest price I've heard) to run emulators and UT2004?
hahahahhaa

The keyboard thing looks pretty cool. I wonder if you are able to customize the keyboard with your own key layout.
And you heard wrong, there's been no price announced yet, this thing's still a concept.

I was going to disagree with you then I remembered that Cata pretty much killed performance. I get like 20fps in Orgrimmar on my HD4850, it's still playable though. I would have never guessed I was getting 20fps until I looked at it.

and you actually think it's going to be south of $1000?
Don't know, don't care, I'll never buy one anyways.

They probably chose the atom for obvious reasons, like battery life.. Unless you can find something with equal power consumption stfu.
But atom can't play games.
Concept device, future improvements onto Atom, the GPU hasn't been announced yada yada yada.

The device isnt released yet, they did not say in the video which revision of the processor they would be using. Your statement is invalid.
Ultimately for portable gaming better options would be a touchscreen tablet or even a phone.
